Surviving Between Season Withdrawal
*Takes on shady dealer type by persona by wearing baggy clothes, dark glasses and Walts STYLISH black hat*
Breaking Bad withdrawal is PAINFUL.
I find myself searching for a fix anyway I can get one which means seeking out cast members in other roles.
Here's what I know of and have been using to easy the off season shakes.
Malcom in the Middle (Crantson) - Of Course
Big Love (Paul) - Season two as Scott.. which leads to wondering if the actor will do both roles since both have upcoming seasons??
Deadwood (Gunn) - Fantastic but Mom Pam issues a STRONG parental warning for language.
X Files - (Creator/Gilligan) - Plenty of old X Files episodes out there to watch if you are missing Mr. Gilligan's writing talent... may I personally suggest Bad Blood and Pusher.
Heck, I even yelled " IT'S HANK!" at the TV the other day when my 11 year old was watching "Evan Almighty".
You guys got any more goodies to hold us over until we start getting some word on season two?
News on filming... a premier date... ANYTHING to keep us going until we hear more *hint, hint* from AMC.

Raymond Cruz (Tuco) has a pretty regular recurring role on The Closer. Dean Norris (Hank) has been in everything, but according to him his breakout comedic performance was in Little Miss Sunshine. Apparently it was at least in part a motivation for his character.
Have to check out The Closer.
You BLEW ME AWAY with the Little Miss Sunshine reference as I've seen the movie a ridiculous amount of times and never put that together.
WOW!
One back at ya...
Did you know that Bryan Crantson, Aaron Paul and Dean Norris all appeared on X Files when Vince Gilligan was a staff writer.
All thing -- OKAY not all but a LOT -- are connected :o)
I did know that about the X Files. Cranstons ep in particular was great -- it was like Speed, only the bomb was in his head, not a bus. Also in an ep. of X Files was our favorite gangster Tuco, Raymond Cruz
You guys know you can find just about every role any actor's ever played with a couple of mouse clicks on imdb.com, right? :)
So...the gauntlet has been thrown down my, eh, dearest Clayton?
You got me, how did I miss Cruz.
You're gonna keep me on my toes... something I completely respect.
Cranston was wonderful in the XF ep Drive which just so happened to have been one of the 22 for that season written by Vince Gilligan :o)
I adore imdb Don.
What I'd do without it I have no clue.
While I'm keeping an eye out for anything from the long talented lists from each actor I started out by listing those thing easy to aquire through reruns or on demand.
Be sure to pop back and let us know if there is something airing from any of them and I will be sure to do the same.
Sure would help to know how long we'll have to wait for a second season.
You can also catch Aaron Paul in National Lampoon's Van Wilder, Pamala. When Van's father crashes his party, he runs into Aaron and asks where he can find Van Wilder. Aaron responds, "In Guinness book of world fu--ing records under the raddest fu--ing dude!"
I tried to post this earlier, but my computer was messing up and it wouldn't work. I'm OK now.
Clayton, you didn't tell Pamala what Aaron was wearing when he made that statement in the movie. Or is it a secret?
Oh my word ... do I even want to know?
Remember, at my age I'm more the Jessie's Mom type than Jessie's girl so here's hoping its nothing racey .
It's not bad, Pamala...it's funny. But since Clayton brought it up, I'll let him tell.
Think college theme party and don't be scared!
BTW, my kids have asked me if I went to toga parties in college! (I did, but I didn't wear a toga. Seemed like a waste of a sheet to me!) Oh and tonight my older son asked us at the dinner table if we ever crashed any parties! He learned a lot during that week at music camp!
Ahhhhhhhhhh the teen questions.
My daughter, knowing I wouldn't lie to her even if I wanted to, recently cornered me with the did you do any drugs when you were young.
I wanted to lie so badly but couldn't so we had a heart to heart about the difference between then when people lovingly tended thier own plants as opposed to now when its an industy where you have no clue whats what and whats been done to stuff.
Its was a very tough conversation leaving me really missing the days when the great debate was if Barney was real or not.
He was wearing a teddy. Yes, a pink teddy.
He was wearing a teddy. Yes, a pink teddy.
He was not! Nooooooooooooo!
You're teasing me aren't ya Clayton?
You see the effect of no new BB....
The tragic toll the off season takes?
Teasing Pam about seeing her dear TV son wearing ladies underwear.
*tisk tisk*
Was totally shocked at all the work Aaron Paul has done...............amazing stuff. Was watching the Sundance channel and an indie was playing called "CHOKING MAN'. Very well done, and Paul was amazing. You guys should check it out.
