Any Word on the Second Season?

Ever since the last episode, I have been frequently checking the site to see if the show got picked up for a second season (How could they not!?)

I was just wondering when they will know about a second season, and then if they do get picked up, when new episodes will begin.
I misssss it!

Yeah me too. I watched breaking bad first time around since it locked me in with episode one. I have also been checking back to see the news on a season 2. I check in every once in awhile. If there's a second season, you know I'll be watching! I even created breaking bad families on the sims. heh.

AMC is doing a spectacular show with "Breaking Bad!" Of course there MUST be a Season Two! And a Season Three; and Season Four; and Season Five -- you get the picture I'm sure! Developing these show seasons so that the climax doesn't "happen" until at least Season Five !! will be the cinematic equivalent of holding back the Mount Saint Helens eruption. This is GOOD television, GOOD acting, GOOD writing -- just plain GOOD stuff! Hurry SEASON TWO!!

I caught this show on episode two and have watched every episode at least three times. It's such a great piece of acting and such a great story line. I haven't seen anything as good as this since the Soprano'e, 6 Feet Under or Deadwood. Please don't let this series end. I always make sure that I'm home on Sunday evening to watch it. I love AMC.

This is one of the most interesting, creative, daring, and captivating shows ice ever been priveleged to be hooked on.

No other show has me setting my time clock quicker than this one.
I even set it a day or two in advance.

When I noticed there was no sign of an episode coming up I got worried.
After frantically checkingn this site I see that what I thought was just another episode leading me down this great path of excitement, was in fact the season finale?

That is a blow to my system.but not as much as never seeing this show again would be.
This is not a show you treat lightly. It must be understood that many have already invested a lot of emotion into the storyline, the concept, and not to mention the awesome cast.

If I don't see this show returning, and returning in full effect, I will be put off of AMC for quite a while, perhaps indefinately.

To all those who break bad, keep the dream alive!

I LOVE this show! I've told everyone I could think of about it, and was terribly let down tonight when I sat down and it wasn't on. I (like Mr. White) frantically searched for explanation, even going as far as calling AMC, before I read that last week was the season FINALE-what? I look forward to Breaking Bad every Sunday evening, it is true entertainment to the heart of the matter. The only other shows, series, or movie I myself would rank it with(as far as worthiness) is Dead Wood or Lonesome Dove. Please, Please, continue with the production and subsequent seasons of Breaking Bad. This is quality, no BS about it, gotta see more now, tv viewing. GO AMC!

I just wanted to pitch in my two cents.

I have a long forgotten love of Science and Chemistry that has been renewed after watching this show.

I have even recently looked into taking some courses on Chemistry down at the local college. People need to be reminded just how complex, intricate, and interesting this world is (and all the matter that comprises it), as episode 6 does a nice job of.

Your show is brilliant. Perhaps a step beyond brilliant. I was so blown away by the scene where they have a "cancer intervention" with Walt. It was just acting, but I'll be damned if you didn't bring more than just a tear to my eye! (Damn you!) What a stellar cast. Every single one of them deserves full Kudos for portraying their characters so flawlessly. Even the finessing touch of the "Talking Pillow"! God! My Mother used to employ a similar "token" during heated family conversations. (And my father would use and accept the token just about as begrudgingly as Hank did)

I came here to find out why my uTorrent searches for more episodes of Breaking Bad have turned up nothing past episode 7. A 7 episode season?? Who do you think you guys are? Even Larry David, a retired Billionaire who writes, acts in, and produces Curb Your Enthusiasm, in his free time does 10 episodes a season!

I wait with breathless anticipation for your next brilliant season of Breaking Bad (which will hopefully have more than 7 episodes).

In the meantime you may be pleased to hear that of all the television shows I download using uTorrent (that is how I watch all my TV shows these days) yours downloads the fastest! (This means that more people are downloading and NOT deleting Breaking Bad than the other shows I watch in the same manner, including House MD and Boston Legal!)

My hat goes off to you Vince Gilligan! Now please apply yourself to the task of securing a 2nd season, or I will have "Walter" come talk to you.

I just read this!!!! YIPPPEEE!

AMC announced today that "Breaking Bad," the Little Bleak Show That Could, has been renewed for a full 13 episodes (up from seven last season). This is great news for all TV lovers, of course, because "Breaking Bad" - and star Bryan Cranston in particular - upped the quality every week. I was a bit worried early on that a series about a science teacher with lung cancer who starts making meth to feed his family - and get some last, strange thrills before dying - might have a hard time finding an audience. Silly me. (In truth, FX had the same worries. The cable channel developed "Breaking Bad," loved the pilot but passed on the series because it worried no one would ever advertise on it, among other worries. AMC snatched it up and now, with "Mad Men" already a critical darling, AMC has suddenly put itself on the map with scripted programming - which is insanely hard to break into with any success. AMC has a full four other series in development, including a Western from filmmaker Alison Anders, so it clearly has a zest for scripted fare.
