Tell Them You LOVE Breaking Bad
With all this talk of when and if Breaking Bad will return for a second season I thought now might be a good time to remind my fellow fans that positive feedback is a powerful thing.
While people will go out of their way to complain the same is not often said for offering praise.
Praise is a GOOD thing.
There isn't a soul out there that doesn't welcome it when it comes their way.
That in mind I suggest we all take a lil' time to offer up our viewer praise to the people that need to hear it most. Saying nice things is good for the soul and can only help when it comes to getting more of this wonderful show.
Nothing fancy needed.
Just drop a quick email -- tell them who you are ... demographics are always a big deal -- of praise to those who need to hear it telling them how much you love this show.
So, head off to those websites, track down emails (everyone has a contact us) for all those oh so influential entertainment reporters and publications and let your viewer voice be heard.
Off the top of my head I'd suggest...
AMC (of course!)
TV Guide
Entertainment Weekly
Your hometown newspaper entertainment reporter.
While it seems like a little thing that would hardly make a difference, remember, everyone loves praise and little things can often go a long, long way.

YES. Walt has balls! I actually stood up, clapping and yelling, whan he threw that crystal! I haven't cheered like that since the end of Aliens.
In the end, it's only going to be bad. But, WOW, what a great story.
Whan?- when. (Need an edit feature, here). LOL.
P.S. Pissed about the janitor.
I'm right there with you my friend! TV that makes me go WOW! is rare.
Tonight I did the whole range - Shocked, Victorious, Pained... basically YOU NAME IT - of WOW's.
There is good TV...
There's great TV...
Tonights episode of Breaking Bad was WOW TV!
Yes we love it! Can't believe there is only one more episode for this season!!! Will there be a Season Two?
Who do we have to ask?
This show is amazing - AMC has outdone HBO with this one.
@myromax--No word on season 2...yet...
I love this show...and I'm a 67 year old grandma!!It's funny and it's sad...it's great entertainment...I look forward to it every week, AMC you've got yourself a genius writer....can't wait till next Sunday....
myromax has said it all, AMC has REALLY outdone HBO with this series. I hope it continues into another season!
I've got TWO words for them on season 2, Clayton.
YES & SOON!
Here, here myromax! While HBO used to be the place to turn for cutting edge TV it may have to , with Breaking Bad, hand that title over to AMC.
I really love this show. They have finally done a show about something real.
A few years ago I was really into the Shield, but Breaking Bad even tops that show. I really hope the show returns. Great Job!
honestly this show is amazing i dont miss an episode. i hope this show stays on for a long time.
This show is awesome. AMC I am looking forward to season 2! It is on Sunday night at 10pm on a channel that most believe (as I did) was for old movie re-runs. Many probably don't even know about it. Us diehard fans will be trying to get the word out, that Breaking Bad is very good!
This is hands down the BEST new series on TV I have ever seen! WOW, tonights episode 6 has me completely hooked (no pun intended) and I'm left dying for more! I can't even think of another show that can invoke such a range of emotion over the course of only one short episode! Honest to goodness while watching Episode 6 I cried, laughed, gasped, cheered, yelled, stood and applauded, and am counting down the days until next weeks season finale! Everything about this show is amazing! From the way the sceens are shot, the way the plot unfolds, to the absolute credibility of each character, it is so tastefully done considering the subject matter. In my opinion, this in NO WAY "glamorizes" meth, it's production or it's use! And speaking as a recovered meth addict (sober now 2 years, 2 months, 12 days) with a now ex-husband doing many years in Federal Prison for making the stuff, this is the most honest, raw, gritty, truthful account of a dark and deadly drug, lifestyle, and the underground world it takes place in. I can see exactly where they intend to go with telling such a story and it needs to be told, especially with Meth use and addiction reaching epidemic proportions in our country, our cities, and quite possibly even our own backyards. I give a standing ovation to the Breaking Bad creator, cast, crew and director! BRAVO, gentlemen, well done! One question....When can I mark my calendar for Season 2 ???
DUDE!!!
dude... yes i agree WOW!
tonights episode reminded me why i was so damn excited about this show before it came out, Walt is a BADA$$, amazing episode, whats this about season finale preview though, seems so soon.
making me sad, especially after watching the best episode on a series, ever.
Regardless thank you guys for Breaking Bad, will always be a fan!
We had a teacher who did this in a rural backwater school district in Penna. He got away with it because the churches he rotated between were sometime homes for other dealers of various drugs and his grandparents were "movers and shakers". Now why he did it? Probably because he was the short skinny kid and always looked down on by the jocks. This put him over the top and the state police left him alone because he had the dirt on them. I despised Brother Bob!
Walter I have a bit of understanding for, how about turning the friends from his old life into a Biotech/GMO firm that makes Walter's illegal activity look good by comparison and make a statement about the legal things that really mess up the world. (I am reading Uncertain Peril which prompted this justification for Walter.) Is Walter a referent to Walter Middy on the Dark Side?
Love this show. Hope it isn't really the finale. That would be a shame.
Please Please make a second season!!! I love this show. This is the first television show I have actually been excited about for a long time.
Until Breaking Bad came along the last time I made sure I was in front of the TV for anything was HBO's Band Of Brothers. The story & acting are excellent! Couldn't picture anyone else playing these parts - perfectly done! If this ends up on the cancel list I'm throwing all my TV's into the trash!!!!
Pamala et al: I wanted to let you all know that we'll be interviewing Vince with user-submitted questions. So if any of you have any burners for our favorite show creator, go to this link and ask by end of day today!
http://blogs.amctv.com/breaking-bad/2008/03/ask-vince-gilli.php
I did write to some places, TV Guide etc, about the show telling them it rocked.
It has a nice buzz and I'm happy to be part of something like this ... refreshing TV.
Pamala et al:
I wanted to let you know that immediately following the season finale of Breaking Bad we will be holding a live chat with Bryan Cranston on the blog.
Here's a link where you can post questions for him:

I hope to hear from you!
Fantastic news!
I peeked at the time but was a lil lost on if we're talking EST or Pacific.
remember when television was good?
breaking bad is the reason i own a television again.
This show is amazing. The character dynamics alone are enough to keep us watching. Combine that with the compelling storyline and fascinating chemistry (the stuff they refused to teach us in high school) this show becomes an epic masterpiece. Definitely a must see, AMC must continue this show for a second season.
Season 2 please! Breaking Bad is amazing, its like a really good movie in the form of a television show, and probably one of the only shows that keeps me captivated enough to tune in week after week. I could confidently say I am addicted to this show, and I will most likely cry if there isn't a second season.
We are pushing 60 (y.o.) and we are absolutely hooked on Breaking Bad...(the drugs in the 1960's?) any way we have told every one we know to watch this awsome series...we love it..can't wait for the second season...make it soon...!
First off love the post about going Tuco if the shows not back. The writing and cast are GOLD, acting is fantastic. Bravo. I mean AMC. I picked Family Guy and Alias as shows I liked, got hooked on then "they" cancelled them, only to return stronger. Lets hope if the powers that be do give it the ax, it to comes back stronger like Walt. I also picked Clay Akin from the start, he got canned, came back and almost won it all. This show is sure to win awards. I think Walt will take care of Hugo anonymously. Just a guess, you know Walt did'nt forget him. Brians portrayal is spot on you feel everything Walt does, again AMC, AMC. Anyway, keep up the good work, all of you. Thanks.
Bryan not Brian sorry.
This show is an absolute winner, Walter White is the everyman American AntiHero, you love him but can't believe what he is becoming. This show is Truly destination TV. They have got to do a season 2, there are so many possibilities they could run the plot through. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AMC, BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!
This was an astounding first season for any show. You grabbed me at the first commercial and I was engaged throughout the series. In fact when I missed episode three due to business travel - I paid to download the episode on iTunes, a first for me.
More, more, more please!
Oh yeah, my Easter Sunday- Breaking Bad style: http://tinyurl.com/2tyh2s

Breaking Bad is so damned good. Why is a 50 year old middle class New Mexico chemistry teacher strickened with cancer so interesting to watch? He's got swagger, he's got heart, he's got brains, and he's got balls. Can't wait for season 2.
This show needs to continue. It is one of the best shows thats been on television in years. PLEASE AMC make sure to continue making episodes and there better be more seasons!!!!!
please make atleast a second season of breaking bad. there is so much that is unfinished. This is a great show with so many twists and turns and definitely the highlight of my week. All my friends love the show and are desperately hoping for a second season.
i love this show! i would be so upset if it didnt come back. the characters and actors that portray them are excellent. unique and original premise. its an absolute winner. artistic and beautiful, bound to win a golden globe or two. the character development is outstanding.
Oh please Oh please please make a second season. I LOVE this show. It is so real and so entertaining. It makes me laugh, cry, grip the edge of my seat in anticipation. It's great, and the fact that I am a Chem major makes it all the more worthwhile. I signed up to this site just so I could post here and show my support. The only other shows I like as much as this are House and the Sopranos, but I only watch them when I can. When a new episode of BB is out, I can hardly wait to see the new episode. I couldn't believe the last episode I watched was the last one. I kept looking and looking for a new episode and when I realized there was no more I was devastated!!! I also want to add that the final episode was AWESOME, when Mr. White used the fulminated mercury to blow up Tuco's place I literally jumped up out of my seat and screamed in excitement
I'm a college student that rarely gets a chance to watch TV, but my mother introduced me to this show when I was home. Since I came here and am commenting this, it should be obvious that I'm completely hooked. This show is the best thing to happen to TV in a long, long time, and I sincerely hope that AMC realizes this as well.
I got my girlfriend started on Breaking Bad. She just saw the last episode tonight and definitely wants more.
It seems like aside from a few people who caught advertisements on Discovery, most people I know were hooked on Breaking Bad by their friends.
I have never watched AMC, in my entire life, until I randomly turned on Breaking Bad.
And now I actually consider this channel when I'm doing my run-through of "what's good on right now?" just because I love this one show so much.
So I have no idea if there is or isn't a second season confirmation, but this is definitely the only amazing thing that has caught my eye on the channel.
This program really must be picked up for season two. It's a fact.
LOVE this show!!! I am anxiously waiting for Season 2!! I sure hope they are working on it & will have it start soon. I agree with another poster that said they used to watch The Shield (me too) & Breaking Bad is even better than that!! Definitely a genius at work when they "cooked" up this show!! :o)
I WANT MOOOOOOOOREEEEEEEEEEEEE..............
I love this show! It really shows you how life can take a huge turn for the worse and what consequences come from that. Please make a season 2! I miss Walt and Jesse already.
This show is a pioneer. Stories have been done where the average suburbanite gets "dealt a shitty hand" and eventually sticks it to the man, but this story is written in a way that leaves the viewer cheering one moment, and choking back an ever growing lump in their throat the next. All of this wrapped in a scientific context that allows the viewer to feel smarter for watching. To leave us fans without a season two would be a travesty.
The only question in my mind regarding a second season of Breaking Bad is "When"?
Ever since the first episode... this is one of 2 television series I make a point to watch... Every Sunday at 9:50 pm I am in front of my TV waiting to see what happens next! Great show, best on TV in my oppinion!
Can't wait for season 2!
My TV has always stayed on a childrens channel .... until now. They go to bed and instead of turning TV off, I am checking out AMC, a channel I do not even think I ever watched before. Breaking Bad has raised the bar of television and the other networks are centuries behind. I love this show beyond words, bring on season 2!!!!!!!!!!
pleeeeeeeeeeease, more breaking bad!! it's wonnnderful! this is the first show i've cared two hoots about in many years. sunday nights are always a drag 'cause real life starts again first thing monday morning, but this show has given me a reason to actually look forward to sunday nights! it truly would be a shame not to keep this show around for many more seasons. i'm especially enjoying what seems to be a friendship of sorts developing between walt and jesse.
I love this show!! It keeps me on the edge of my seat. I watched 3 in a row on Saturday and by the 3rd show I was shook. I won't get behind when season 2 starts b/c it was too much for me. Bomb show!! Walt rocks!!
This show rules. Definitely need another season or two. I love the gangsters in there. makes me laugh. Also the Walt scenes in underpants are very.. confronting. All in all very entertaining. Unfortunately I live in the netherlands, and have to wait a long time before this gets aired. Over here they still primarily watch documentaries about tulips and milk production.
amc definitely needs to continue with breaking bad. i have to admit-i have never really been addicted to a show that i HAVE to see every week-but i have found one in breaking bad. i love everything about it. especially how walters character changes from being a depressed teacher clone-to a bad mother *&^%er!!!!
I just turned this on tonight by accident - I don't watch TV alot and I am so glad that I did. I found a reason to watch TV again! - this was wonderfully refreshing and entertaining. Kind of makes you wonder what you would do if you were told you had an incurable disease and didn't have long to live and didn't want to do chemo. People always think of things they would want to do before they pass - have a "bucket list" but if you don't have the money, then what else is there to do. This meek, mild mannered guy grew balls and even though the premise is (sorry) bad, but it is life and there is good and bad and watching it on TV makes you think about your own life, and what you would do.
wow!!! I freeking love this show! I bought the first episode a while back on itunes. I dident watch it for 2 months. After I finally watched the first episode I fell in love and bought the rest of the seasion and and watched it in 2 days!
love it!!
Please run this for one more season at leat. it's too good. Not enough people know about it, though. It could use a little promotion.
This show is Fantastic! I watched the pilot and was hooked! In my opinion it is the best show to air since the Sopranos I never missed an episode of that show. I didn't think there would ever be another series that would or could compare. Thankfully I was wrong! Breaking Bad is Awesome! I really can't express enough I sincerely hope there is a second season. It would be a travesty if there's not.
Kudos to the producers writers and directors!
Please make this another fantastic action packed five season series.
Thanks for listening!
I had never heard of this show, flipping through channels one night I came across a guy driving an RV with a gas mask on in his underwear, I had to watch to find out how the heck someone ends up in this predicament and have been absolutely hooked since!! I LOVE this show!! I rarely watch t.v., but this has definitely got my attention! I have watched every single episode and cannot wait for season 2! I loved Walt's Wisdom and had so much fun sending those messages out to my friends who now in turn are also hooked and can't wait for season 2!!! Hats off to the writers, actors and producers for one of the best shows on!!
I LOVE THIS SHOW. ITS CUTTING EDGE AND A BLAST TO WATCH. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE A SECOND, THIRD,ECT SEASON.ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON TV.
You absolutely have to continue on with this series! I have waiting for the secoond season to come back!! This is by far the best show on T.V. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!
*** If
I was a sponsor I would be seriously upset!
You got us totally hooked and then left us hanging! With all of the "new" series coming out, why not just stick with something that was just 100% entertaining? I can't remember te last time I SO looked forward to a show coming on!
Did it have to do with the writer's strike?
Yikes, I hope they never do this with Law & Order!!!
The should be no "rumors" about it!
I know this is supposed to be nice, BUT WE are the consumers buying the products that are advertised during the show. Anybody who stand in the way of it continuing should be fired! You know how many other networks would scramble to have a TRUE hit series like Breaking Bad!!!!!! I hope all of the actors in it are making top pay and the writers who are sticking with it!
Please, please, start up a second season. This show is quality all the way and giving up on it would be criminal!! It's been a rollercoaster ride each and every episode. There hasn't been an instant that I wasn't on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happened next. I have a number of favorite shows, but I can't really make that statement about any the others. Post the names of some of your potential sponsors for the next season, and we'll bombard them with mail. I'll buy anything you advertise on this show, just don't give up on it.
Yea, this show is definitely on the level of HBO series...
What makes the show so great is how it ties in so many different groups of issues. As a chemist, I personally love it for the chemistry...I've read a number of blogs from people who have friends or family in law enforcement, where they identify with the DEA influence...i've read some blogs written by people with terminal cancer or CP...both of which are represented in the show...it's hard to imagine someone who can't identify with a character on Breaking Bad..
I watched a rerun a few weeks back, then someone said it was available on ITunes...so I just had to buy the Pilot. I watched it and I was hooked...I ended up buying the entire season, which was only 7 of the most amazing episodes of any TV show I've ever watched. WHERE IS SEASON TWO????
Please don't make me wait long.
Oh yeah, and Bryan Cranston is amazing. The Emmy he won was totally deserved.
Breaking Bad is a brilliant show. This show speaks about and paints a real life portrait about what life is really like for multitudes of Americans. The subject matter is numerous and relevant to the here and now, Pain, finances, health, addictions. relationships, and parenting aret just a few of the real subjects we face everyday. Breaking Bad is written and performed in a way that mimics real life, Whether it is you or someone else who is being affected by one of these issues, you get and it makes you think.. Mad Men is one of my top shows, but I wish Breaking Bad would catch on as well through advertising or whatever means necessary to get the word out. BRAVO.
Americanwoman01 from Kansas.
Come on people! Talk about this show or it might go away. What a shame that would be There's not much on TV worth watching or as intelligent as this show is..Again-Americanwoman01 from Kansas.
Has anybody heard if ther is going to be another season? This is my favorite show.
Breaking Bad is a truly unique show and I've never been so hooked and wowed on a show in my life. I only can hope it gets enough advertisement and enough people are aware that it exists to keep it going for another season. Please please please keep up the good work.
yea so i was casually watchng mad men a very stylistic original production to be certain and then i saw the 1st breaking bad now i realize mad men really doesn't really need me anyway and breaking bad is all i need really the show has been great i look forward to much more way to go amc still with ya just changed horses
I just wanted to take a moment to thank AMC for bringing this show back.
The character complexity is remarkable, the purposeful questioning of the status quo is refreshing, and the writing way above pay grade.
Every actor/tress in this series turns in a remarkable performance. Bryan Cranston certainly doesn't get the attention he deserves, and he's only the easiest jewel to point to in a sparkling array.
We need more shows like this. Mainstream America needs to see more shows like this. Unfortunately, they are usually cancelled long before they have the chance to reach a wider audience.
Thank you, AMC, for having the balls and integrity to bring this back. I'm sure the awards didn't hurt, but in my glass-half-full world I'll give you full credit.
A few channels have tried with original programming to come up with a winner but nothing like this. Nothing comes close.
Each episode is like a full blown movie; the cinema
photographer is excellent, the backgrounds are wonderful too.
But the thing that keeps you on the edge of your seat is the acting. Bryan is tremendous in this, and the supporting cast is excellent. It's better than ANYTHING on network (yawn) TV for sure.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow nights premier
of the second season.
Bravo AMC, this is quality work all around.
never do this but....don't watch much tv and I was flipping thru channels while I was cleaning the house and stumbled upon a man in a desert in his underwear? Watched a couple minutes of the show and ended up sitting down (quit cleaning) and watched a whole marathon. I was truely amazed, totally hooked and cannot wait to turn on AMC tonight. INSTANT FAN, couldnt stop watching and will tune in for every episode (and I am usually asleep by 8-9pm) I won't even eat dinner til 10 pm because I do not want to fall asleep and miss this. WAY TO GO AMC!!!
I just watched tonight's episode and I have to say that I WANT MORE!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.............I LOVE THE SHOW AND I AM A HUGE FAN OF BREAKIN' BAD.........(shoulder twitches)........I should go now.....good night............
WOW! what else can be said about Breaking bad? I am a HUGE sopranos fan, but this has blown them out of the water...........or put them in the water "sleeping with the fishes" .....Breaking Bad is by far the best televsion show, in the last......oh hell, its the best show ever! I am dying to see the next episode on sunday, i can hardly wait. I have watched the 1st epsiode about 15 times this week! thank god for DVR!!
keep up the amazing work!
Thank You AMC for this show!!! I was worried that there wasn't going to be a second season, It seems so long since last season ended. This is my favorite show by a mile!!!! Thank You AMC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything about this show is 1st rate. This show deserves to win every award for the directing, writing, acting. Even the minor characters are interesting and complex. I lived in ABQ a few years back so it's interesting to guess where some of the scenes are shot. Tio's ranch looked like it was way out there on the west side where Central dead ends. The show is a thrill ride and thought provoking at the same time. It's also a microcosm of so many things that are screwed up in America like the so-called health care system and the drug culture that so many young men find "cool". This was especially pervasive in SW ABQ where the main goal is to be the biggest baddass mthrfkr out there. I saw it everyday, very sad. This show is spot on in portraying that dead end lifestyle.
First time poster on BB, mostly I've been over on the MadMen forum. I LOVE this show! Last season when it originally aired, I started out watching, and got as far as the second episode, and couldn't take the suspense. I finally saw the rest of the episodes in the marathon (missed S.1, episodes 2-3), but still this is a real nailbiter!
Walt and Jesse are either extraordinarily lucky, dumb or clueless. I surely thought Jesse was going to buy the farm last nite....poor Jesse, he's a kid who's still calling Walt Mr. White as he keeps following him down the path to hell. You just know Jesse's going to be left holding the bag for all of it long after Walt's left this earth.
Reading again all the posts I am amazed at how much of a buzz this show has.
I felt that no one else had noticed but luckely for AMC and Breaking Bad more and more people are talking about it.
Even on all kind of places on the Net, not just here on AMC. I'm looking around for stuff like fonts or graphs and people are talking about Breaking Bad in there post on all type of Blogs.
It cracks me up.
There is verrrrrrry little I like on TV anymore - EXCEPT FOR BREAKING BAD!!!! Most definitely a "WOW" factor from one episode to the next. BRAVO in bringing it back & keep up the good work because we all love it!!!!
WE LOVE BREAKING BAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE KEEP IT UP !!!!
:)
Well shoot, it feels nice to be online to comment on this fantastic, hair-pullin', definitely a nail biter of a t.v. series show. (Old pc went out-just got a new l.t.) Anywayz, yeah, my oldest son & I have been tuning in every week; all of season 1 & 2! OMG, we love this show. It really is hillarious, frightful, and about every emotion I can think of-lol! Keep up the great work AMC! I was just curious, how did BB end up on AMC? Curious in Seattle, Slancaster22
When things get hairy - I walk away (within earshot) or peek thru my hands - I can't take that much adrenalin, but I wouldn't want to miss an episode. I love the surprises - stuff that you would never think would happen next.
I can only really reiterate what other people have said, but when my dad and I first stumbled across the pilot, my first thought was, "Who came up with this show? Are they my twin or are they god?"
Breaking Bad has everything I could possibly ever want in a television show. It is the only television show that has ever made me care about the characters so deeply. I'm either laughing, crying, cheering or on the edge of my seat when I'm watching this show. Everyone on here is so in love with it too, yet hardly anyone I know has even heard of it. I'm thinking it'll be a cult classic one day.
Basically, Breaking Bad is addictive, and I'm literally counting down the days till Sunday during my boring high school week! Thank you Vince Gilligan!!!
this show is what gets me threw my week!! im a recovered drug addict,3 years, and this show is not far off base at all. i grew up and watched so many of my closest people go from straight arrow to off the deep end in a matter of months.my mom even digs it, it gives her insight as to how easy it was for everyone i knew, including me, to get caught up in the game.
i finnaly got my life straightend out but those cravings are always gonna be there. this show tottaly satisfies my cravings and its like it helps me keep myself motivated all week till the next episode, i was devistated when i didnt think there was gonna be another season. then season 2 started and i couldnt tell you how happy that made, words cant describe.
this is by far the best show ever! my favorite, and as long as you keep making episodes ill watch them!
This show is brilliant and completely original. The characters are all so conflicted and real. It keeps you on the edge of your seat but is not sensational for the sake of it.
Kudos to the writers, actors, and actresses on this show! I have been watching for a few months now, and am completely immersed.
This is, without question, the best television series I have ever seen.
This is the ONLY TV show that I look forward to watching right now.
I thought Deadwood was the best series I had ever watched until I saw 6 Feet Under. Then it was Battlestar Galactica.
Now without a doubt it's Breaking Bad. I literally stumbled on it by chance when they were doing a Breaking Bad series 1 marathon over the weekend. That was all it took to get me hooked, and I mean big time.
I will write TV Guide, Entertainment Weekly,
and my hometown newspaper entertainment reporter because we really, really, need quality TV like this that doesn't insult our intelligence and can find humor in even the darkest, hard times.
And ya, I've also seen a lot of great comments on other blogs about this show!
Ok, I'll shut up now. :)
okay i have already said this in other blogs but ill say it again. I was hooked on this show from day one. Loved bryan K. in malcom so I had to check it out and boy was I right. This is one amazing show and thank god for Tivo! I have told everyone who will listen to watch this show. The writing is amazing and should be winning some emmy's - or how bout peoples choice? Please never take this show off, I love the characters, stories, everything. I am a 32, F from chicago and will tell you I have known people like this. NEVER cancel this show!!Give the whole staff a raise cause they deserve it - im hooked and will forever be a addict of breaking bad!
My 75 year old mother and I watch the show every week. It's terrific! I think it's so funny that my mother who has no knowledge of the drug world and is like Mother Theresa, eagerly looks forward to Sunday nights watching "Breaking Bad". The writers and the actors are fantastic. The creator has a lot to be proud of. We can't wait for next season . . . Hurry up!!
All I can say is, we were very fortunate that one of our neighbors turned us on to Breaking Bad in April/May 2008. The cool thing is, we have Comcast Cable and were able to go to On Demand and view the first few episodes to catch us up on what the show was about. We were absolutely mezmorized! We Loved It! And it has been an absolute ritual that Sunday nights at 10, everything else is put on hold so we can watch this facinating show! Bryan Cranston, who I only knew from Malcom in the Middle (sitcom) and really didn't like the show, or his part and how he was portrayed. HOWEVER!, He has blown me out of the water with BB! His acting is absolutely astonishing! Everyone is! Aaron plays such a wonderful supporting role for Cranston, I think he should win an award for his supurb acting! He plays this role in a very stunning way and I LOVE IT!! I AM SO BUMMED THAT THE SHOW MAY END AFTER THE SEASON FINALE EPISODE THIS SUNDAY! PLEASE VINCE GILLIGAN, CONTINUE WITH AT LEAST ONE MORE SEASON!!!!!!! Thank you all who took the time to read My-Story....The Biss
Again, please don't end BB with this last episode! Keep it going for at least one more season! PLEASE!!!!!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this show! I just happened upon the Season 1 'Marathon' before Season 2 started, and I am sooo Glad that I watched it. My family and friends are watching it, and after it each episode we do a 'conference-call' just to chat about what we liked best about the show and what will be of the Sunday to come!! I haven't really enjoyed a show this much in a long time. IT'S SOOO WRONG, THAT IT IS RIGHT!!! Keep it going PLEASE!!!
Breaking Bad is crystal meth yo. My little brother recommended it to me and I got a little taste by renting disk one from Netflix, next thing I knew I ordered the entire season 1 from Amazon, now I am buying episodes daily on iTunes trying to get caught up for the finale, which I plan on watching on AMC this Sunday. Got my old man hooked too yo. Last night we downloaded three episodes - now were only on episode 8 - and tonight we're gonna try and do 3 more. Only five more bumps until Sunday! We're going to have to join BBA after that until next season when we can get our fix again!
Also, my mom just died of cancer and I can relate to a lot of Walt's unconventional opinions about the disease and the horrific struggles families have to undergo watching a loved one die from cancer.
I have one word for this show........WOW!
Breaking Bad is an excellent show, definitley one of my favorites! Unfortunatley I couldnt keep up with it this second season. AMC, please have a marathon of season 2 or post it online!!!!!!!!! I cant afford to buy the episodes, I'm a poor college student!! :(
Never in my history have I stopped whatever I was doing to catch a space with Breaking Bad. I've seen every single episode. Never have I watched a show with such intensity, this includes the Soprano's - the Soprano's is a different flavour and I shouldn't really even compare the two.
In this last season, I found myself getting really tensed out by the show. I mean it really got to me. Like the time they Walt n Jesse were hostage out at Tuco's place with the mute grandfather - holy shiznet! Talk about intensities.
Please keep this show going as long as you can. But after seeing them make the 1.2 Mil, what could be next? What more do they need?
And the teddy bear landing in the pool at the end. Was that Saul trying makin away with the cash? Or was it Saul's "go-to" guy?
I guess we'll find out in Season 3...
Cheers from Squamish BC Canada!
This show is great, but it would be even better if they killed off Walt's whiney wife.
I liked Mr. Ed when I was a kid too, but do we really need another show with a talking horse character?
It strains the credibility of the whole show.
Over all it is very well done but then suddenly we have 35 minutes of dialog from a horse!
What the heck?! I can suspend disbelief as well as the next guy, but come on!
This is ridiculous!
It's not even that funny... it's *obvious* they just put peanut butter on the roof of her mouth to get her to move her mouth and then voiced over a bad dub...
Couldn't they have at least CGI'd it?
My $0.02.
I absolutely love this show. I tell everyone about it, and most of them have gotten hooked as well. It's nice to see something on T.V. that isn't drivel. I'm so sick of these shows about doctors and lawyers, and cops. And don't even get me started on reality T.V. It's just so refreshing to see something original. Thank you to all the people who helped to create this fantastic show, and please keep up the great work.
OMG! This show is the only tv show we watch and we are anxiously waiting for it's return. The acting is great we love Walt and Jessie and the entire cast. I would say amc picked up the best cast ever. Please, Don't let this go.... people are just starting to hear about how exciting this series is.
My husband is fighting lung cancer and he was dx. when this series started and we were flipping thru the channels and this got our attention.
My husband is going into his third year with this lung cancer and doing well and we look forward to seeing every new episode.
The show must go on!!!!
What ever you need us to do to help keep this series continuing, will do.
Sincerley,
Mike & Diane Hood
Absolutely the BEST drama on TV now - there's a little bit of everything in it - drama, humor, gut-wrenching heartache and everything in between. Well done on the Emmy, Brian - you deserved it. I only wish Aaron could've gotten one also. His performance at the end of season 2 was a tear jerker (when his g/f died) and showed what a great actor he is also. AMC needs to do more publicity for this show - most people I know don't even know it exists until I tell them about it and then they're hooked. GET BUSY AND PUBLICIZE THIS AWARD WINNING SHOW AMC!!!
I can't wait for the new season to start, I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!
I haven't been this addicted to a TV series in years!
Every week I am waiting and anticipating what will happen with the characters. Aaron Paul is great, but I like him in everything. Bryan Cranston , well that goes without being said! I have hooked a lot of people on this show, who did not know for some reason about it. I Love my Breaking Bad hat
and anxiouly await the new season!! (I already have the pilot and season 1 and have preorderd season 2) Bring the new season on!!!!
More Breaking Bad please!!!!!!
Breaking Bad is the finest TV ever brought to American homes! The characters (what a fine ensemble cast) are so very believable. The scripting is superb--the best writing on TV. I gotta have Season 3 before March '10... we're dyin' here! Oh, and gotta have one of those awesome hats! Gotta have more Breaking Bad!
