I hope this show comes back for another season considering its basically the only show I watch. After reading some of Bryan's responses, (townhouse, 13 episodes, etc) it sounds pretty hopeful it will happen. There are many questions I would like to know.
1) Since Walt has started chemo, does it help considering how far along the cancer is? does he live long enough for, say, 3 or 4 seasons worth of episodes?
2) What happens with clepto Marie? (I think she's stealing to support a meth habit - lol)
3) What happened to Crazy 8?!?!? I'd love to see him return cause Walt just "stashed" him somewhere.
4) How far can Walt and Jesse take this enterprise? They have an abundance of chemicals now to make as much meth as they can, do they become kingpins of the west coast?
5) Does Walt jr. ever get to buy beer???
6) Does Hank every catch on to what's going on under his nose? There is a reason he was casted as a DEA agent, so does he become the one to finnally bring down Walt and Jesse?

Some of the questions are just mearly for entertainment purposes but I would love to all the little things answered. I would hate this series cancelled after 1 season (which was cut short by the writers strike) because it's not on HBO or Showtime and it becomes a ratings decision. The show has a great following and as I read more and more comments on the show, it's obvious there is more people who favor the show than oppose it by a large margin. Where's Hugo, He should be brought in Season two as Mr. White's muscle. I thought he was a big dude, very quiet and probally very strong. With all the money the cooker is making he should bail Hugo out of jail and make him his muscle

Just be warned... I'll go Tuco on someone if there is no second season. :) In the vein of The Sopranos and Deadwood, this is a great show. Best show on Cable television now, and probably over the last ten years. Please, please, please don't encounter any "Production Problems."

I tried not to like this show...really I did...I watched the first episode thinking "why would they make a show based on cooking meth!"...but then I had to watch the 2nd episode...the 3rd...etc...I admit it! I'm hooked on Breaking Bad! Great characters, great writing, great hooks to keep me watching! How could we be at the end of the season so soon!?

There has never been a show I've been so completely hooked on. PLEASE oh PLEASE bring it back for another season or so. And if it is brought back, when will that be. I mean they just leaving you hangin. I will definately be checking back to the website for hints on a second season.

Season 2 is a must! Don't let the ball stop rolling on this great show. AMC has become the best on cable with Mad Men and Breaking Bad. I hope they don't let the crown slip away.

This is absolutely the best TV Show I have watched in years. To give us a measly 7 Episodes and then stop would be an absolute TRAVESTY. AMC, be smart, renew this show before someone else does grab it. I see it being a long running winner. So many directions and places it could go. I NEED MORE. Its like a Habit!!! I want to congratulate Vince and the cast and crew of this brilliant, insightful, ground-breaking, sensitively-done (I can keep going!) show. The season finale should be awarded an emmy. The dialogue is so rich and so real and the plot constantly takes you places you'd never imagine going- literally and figuratively. I think there's a part in all of us that wants to live large; to feel more alive through risk and breaking the rules. It's a vicarious thrill to live through Walt's life, yet at the same time be horrified at the inevitable wreckage to come and see lives torn apart. Thank you for entertaining me in such a sophisticated, eye-opening, jaw-dropping way. My life will be less enriched until Breaking Bad returns.

My Sunday evenings will be a little more empty now that the season's over. I haven't enjoyed a television show this much since Lucky Louie. Funny, edgy, honest and outrageous!

I will be (not-so) patiently awaiting Season 2.

Best show this year hands down. Very rare for a show to have so many great actors! Perfect blend of drama, humor, and action. Great look too. Personally I would like to see Walt to lay it on the line and tell his wife everything, and I'd love it even more if she keep supporting him afterward. Yeah I hope Walt and Jessie become the big kingpins for sure!

Anyway, on MySpace there is a Breaking Bad "Group". There are a few members of the cast and crew that post on that site and one of them said something about June. I think that means when filming will start, not when the new episodes begin, but I'm not sure.

In the meantime, I'm content to just try to figure out the fine points of what has happened so far.

If Bryan C is buying a place in ABQ, then I'm fairly confident that there will be a season 2.
My concern is if there's enough of a following for a seasons 3-4-5-etc. My family and a few friends are HUGE fans, but I don't hear anyone else talking about it. Sad, really. I'm hoping that Season 2 will be the breakout season that grabs the attention of the vast majority of TV viewers who are only interested in vapid cr@p.
I'm eagerly awaiting more Walt and Jesse. They're up there on my list of favorite "duo's" along with Felix and Oscar, Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello, etc.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! My husband and I have been hooked since the first episode. The actors are great, storyline wonderful and I just could go on and on. I really hope this show is signed for a second season. It's the only show that I've continued to come back to every week... I now have something to look forward to for Sunday!

Breaking Bad is the best show i have ever watched, i wasn't expecting the season to end like that IT SUCKS. Me and my girlfriend looked forward to watching it every week, i was all ready to watch the new episode popcorn and all and BOOM repeat i couldn't believe it. there were only three shows I watched this season. Breaking Bad, Lost and Dexter.
-BB is fresh in an otherwise wasteland of unprofessional writing. I love it...Bryan Cranston is in a zone with this character. As well, all of the cast are also doing fantastic work.

BB needs more seasons to flesh this plot out!

This show has a life of its own. Somebody would really want to have to kill it to make it go away.

There's just too much quality writing, acting and innovation wrapped up in this show for it to dissemble.

I hope to hell new episodes are being crafted soon.

I have to say..This is the best show to ever hit the air-waves. The chemistry (no pun) of the cast is well "Magic" not to mention the incredible talent of Mr.Gilligan who is both genius and strong enough to get a program that finally treats me as an intelligent adult. People that have these traits in this industry are rare. And now about the show...Walter has been sleepwalking for 50yrs. He has a very controlling wife,but he feels guilty and responsible for Walt Jr.(Who has more class and heart than most kids his age) He teaches a class of morons who are there just for the credit, He has for a brother in law..the D.E.A agent in charge of the local meth trade, and finally theres Marie, The shop lifter. Seems normal enough to me. But then Walt and I got hit with the news from Dr. Musturd that he has lung cancer! Bang! Reality is Now, So he decides to not take shit from anyone anymore and does Not want his family paying some quack hundreds of thousands of dollors just to see himself slowly and painfully Die. So....he BREAKS BAD! and I love it, This is reality These are the times in which we live. And I hope this is the first season of many more. Again, My Thanks and keep "Breaking Bad"

I hardly watch television much less a regular program but this is the some of the best tv/film/etc that I've seen in years. I got burned out watching TV and walked away from it but this show has brought me back. I'm hoping like hell there's a season two.

This Show is or was at the time (before the season ended too soon) the only good thing on TV. Lets face it, you got cop shows, hospital shows, reality shows and that sucks. When I first heard the synopsis of this show that is what drew me in. A High School Chem Teacher cooking meth with a former dropout student. In a Time where creative and intelligent TV is at a standstill, this show is a juggernaut. Bryan is worthy of every award there is for an actor in a TV drama. I signed up for an account on this site just so I could add to these comments, so tell your friends and lets get as much support as we can so we can bring it back. I mean, Besides Lost and Dexter on Showtime (2 amazing shows with amazing actors not unlike Breaking Bad) I am ready to throw my television away.

I love your show and most people I know are avid watchers. We cant wait for new episodes I cant beleive you only made six very short sighted. Having been involved in the trade years ago I think you need more bikers as they were heart and soul of the crank trade. Believe it or not I had a friend in school who was expeled for launching his desk lid thru the cealing with gun cotton. My wife likes it more than nip tuck, please bring back this show, great actors really well done. man of the sixties....

I love this show. I recorded the season finale and just watched it. I normally do not get into entertainment web sites, but I wanted to show my support for this show.

What I like about the show is the relationship between the main characters and how chemistry plays a role in the show. I do not have cancer but I know what it is to have a life altering illness. This story and the change in Walt’s way of being is why I like the show. The choices that we make are what makes life real. Walt loves chemistry and that is why he is making meth.

Breaking Bad is the one show I look forward to watching every week (especially since it gets put on HD on demand once the episode airs), I have been hooked since the pilot and was in disbelief when I realized the last episode I watched was the season finalie. I was going nuts scanning through my DVR recordings looking for the latest episode only to find it's a wrap for this season, the main reason I came here to amctv.com to find out what was up. So......What is up???? When wil SE02 be here?!?!?!?!?

I think Breaking Bad is one of the best shows to appear on T.V. in a long time. And who cares if some people think it is a bad influence. They thought Harry Potter was a bad influence too. So if they don't make another Breaking Bad season, I think just about every Breaking Bad fan is going to be pretty much pissed off!

Finally, an antidote to the banal TV trend - idiots on blind dates or choosing which bimbo to court - living on islands facing fake dangers, Seems like there are no real story writers left - (exception - Dexter - Bravo there too) and now , Breaking Bad. Thanks and Kudos to Mr. Gilligan and to the station managers for deciding to air it. I'm a retired social worker, and there is something totally real and endearing about each character. Excellent show. PLEASE keep it going (whoever makes those decisions).. Just know there are still some intelligent viewers left out here who desire some great writing, acting and plots.

Oh please Oh please please make a second season. I LOVE this show. It is so real and so entertaining. It makes me laugh, cry, grip the edge of my seat in anticipation. It's great, and the fact that I am a Chem major makes it all the more worthwhile. I signed up to this site just so I could post here and show my support. The only other shows I like as much as this are House and the Sopranos, but I only watch them when I can. When a new episode of BB is out, I can hardly wait to see the new episode. I couldn't believe the last episode I watched was the last one. I kept looking and looking for a new episode and when I realized there was no more I was devastated!!! I also want to add that the final episode was AWESOME, when Mr. White used the fulminated mercury to blow up Tuco's place I literally jumped up out of my seat and screamed in excitement

There NEEDS to be a second season. I don't think too many people know about this show because of the station it's on. If it were on a more popular channel, I bet the ratings would be very high. I love this show! I hope that the seasons continue for a very long time. I've been waiting for the new episodes to show, but I just found out that the season just ended. If this show does not come back, I believe there will be alot of disappointed fans. I know I wont even bother to watch AMC again, if Breaking Bad is cancelled--its the ONLY reason I even watch this channel! Also, It would just be wrong to leave so many things hanging in the air. It just would not be right!!

This program is my little evil. I live vicariously through it. As I have removed and stopped all the chaos I used to live in it is fun to watch that acted out within this program. I actually really tried to not like this. I am a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and thought it would be innapropriate, almost like condoneing it "meth that is". But I find it extreamly ingaging and a lesson is to be learned if you look at it from the right angle. That is that chaos breeds more chaos

PLEEEAAAASE make a season 2!!! There are very few TV shows I enjoy on TV these days and it was most refreshing to enjoy watching Breaking Bad. This is one fan that hope AMC wakes up and sponsors a season 2.

I suppose the beauty of Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle is that one can never fully know an energy state or position, only the probability of one being there. So, given such vast success, it would would be a reasonable assumption that there is a high probability of a season 2. This is good. The characters and setting have been created with great depth and have the potential for numerous interactions with unpredictable and entertaining, (though intense), outcomes. I and others eagerly await the new episodes.

I heard Bryan on NPR talking about his new show. Sounded like such a cool premise. I was intrigued and decided to start watching. I enjoyed the scenery, the music, the characters/actors, the twists, the novel way that fate falls into their laps and then catches fire directly. I hate T.V. I only use it for sports and my kids' shows. After the season ended, we dropped our package down to the basic level. Can't get AMC that way, wife can't get Torchwood or Dr. Who, but we save money. If those crackheads pull their noggins out and give us another season then I will re-up my second tier package. You get the message AMC? I can feel the tug- you want that 2 cents, don't you big boy?

This is the ONLY series on tv that I have ever watched all the way through. Since episode one clear to the end. I will definiately be watching season 2.

This is one of the best shows I have seen in its genre. Unfortunately Television is about ratings and not about how good a show is or how great the cast, acting and script is. I hope the ratings were enough to continue 2nd season. And believe me that if season 1 DVD came out tomorrow, then tomorrow I would buy the DVD. Such a great show keep up the good work.

If anyone at AMC has a brain and any business being in the entertainment business they MUST give us more Bb. This "TV show" should win the best picture oscar. Don't "bleep" it up and cancel the best thing on TV. I think that things must end Badly for Walt to end the story in the excellent manner to which we have been treated to but NOT YET. Give us more.

I just LOVE this show, one of the best things to appear on TV for many years. Some suggestions for season 2:
1) How about exploring how Walter Jr. came to be born with Cerebral Palsy? You did some neat foreshadowing about how one time Walter handled toxic chemicals without wearing the correct safety gear, but most of the audience seemed to miss it. Perhaps one of the medical tests reveals that Walters DNA has been damaged? (I have seen this actually happen in R/L where hydrazine damaged the mother, and the son had problems, most likely as a result).
2) How about making it more topical by having Walter try his hand at nuclear proliferation once he can go no farther with meth? He could sell UF6 to the Iranians or something, then bad things could happen to his family and friends as the deal goes bad and the Iranians get pissed. I would love to see old loud mouth Hank get his fingernails ripped off! The point of this is that some Iranians are much badder dudes than a bunch of meth-heads, and Walters actions would have some consequences for the people he knows and loves.

I love the chemistry theme, and there is actually a chemical way of enriching Uranium, believe it or not. Uranium can either be quadrivalent or hexavalent, and one isotope will change valency faster than the other. You just have to run uranium salts over ion exchange resins multiple times.
The fact that you use accurate chemistry (with a few glaringly obvious bits of censorship) is one of the big attractions of the show for me. Obviously you have a real chemist working for you, and this greatly boosts the number of dweebs watching the show!

Please tell me there will be a season two and when? what date ? if you cancel the show I will start doing meth. I love the show it's a really super good show.

I never (underscore never) have been so absorbed in a program before. It is now 10:30 at night, I've just gotten off work and all I can think about is how can I find out if there will be a second season of Breaking Bad. Instead of going to bed, I'm here on the computer trying to see if anything is out there that talks about a new season.
I'm 60 years old and may not watch tv for days at a time, but I never miss an episode of Breaking Bad.

A second season is a must. Start the second season this Fall.

I didn't know what to expect when I saw the first trailers for Breaking Bad. I saw the first episode by chance....Wow! This is the most engaging show I have seen in many years. Absolutely riveted me to every episode! The cast chemistry and outstanding characters is world class. I am seriously hooked on this show! I N E E D to more seasons! I can not imagine this show not lasting several seasons. I think this is one of the best shows in TV history!

There are no words to describe how excited I am about season two of BREAKING BAD... I remember the first time i saw it advertised on TV, I thought it looked like a cool show... From the first minute of the first episode to the end of the first season I was HOOKED... It'sbeen killing me to wait this long for the second season, but good thing's come to those who wait... SANTA FE — The second season of AMC's drama series "Breaking Bad" begins filming in New Mexico next week, the governor's office has announced.

The acclaimed series from creator and executive producer Vince Gilligan features Bryan Cranston as a high school chemistry teacher who turns to cooking methamphetamine as a way to provide money for his family after he is diagnosed with terminal cancer.

The series, from Sony Pictures Television, will shoot its second season in and around Albuquerque from July 15 to December.

The shows are slated to air in 2009.

The second season will consist of 13 episodes, according to an announcement on AMC's web site. The first season was only seven episodes because of the writers' strike.

Cranston, who appeared in "Little Miss Sunshine," was nominated for an Emmy in 2006 for his work as the father on the comedy series "Malcolm in the Middle."

"Breaking Bad" also features Anna Gunn of "Deadwood" as the wife of Cranston's character, Walter White, and Aaron Paul of "Big Love" as the former student with whom White goes into the meth-selling business.

About 175 local crew members will be hired for the production, according to Gov. Bill Richardson's office.

I never thought that there would be a better show than the Sopranos, but when I saw "BREAKING BAD" I instantly LOVED it. I mean it gave me a new breath of fresh air in my heart, and mind. OMG! You got us totally hooked and then left us hanging! With all of the "new" series coming out, why not just stick with something that was just 100% entertaining? I can't remember te last time I SO looked forward to a show coming on!

Impatiently waiting for new season of Breaking Bad. I have watched the old reruns over and over. That tells you how great the series is to me. The acting is superb! To put humor in a series with a serious subject is amazing to me. The meth. The cancer. That talking pillow scene is a killer. "I have the talking pillow now so let me speak." The physically challenged son is adorable. Wonderful actor, too. I can't find a thing wrong with the series. Please hurry new season!!! Make my day.

I NEED Season 2 to for Walt's sake! I tune in to Mad Men just to see if there are any commercials for Breaking Bad. I've watched Mad Men and I don't care about the accolades, it is not anywhere near the candor that Breaking Bad displays. Meth is evil, life sucks, but what happens when you put someone as smart as Walt into an unbearable situation and there is this unique opportunity put in front of him? You just woke up the sleeping giant! Can he lay it to rest for redemption's sake? Or does he go the way of Scarface? He loved the American dream with a vengeance?!

This is life! This is life on meth and I need it!

Congrats to Bryan for winning the best actor emmy! Now we're for sure getting season two, right? Right? Of course we are! But WHENNNNN?

Many anticipate the second season of Breaking Bad... The fan site I run, for the past two weeks fans have asked, "When will season two begin?" I keep posting the great news of Emmey's and so on to keep them informed and I don't believe it helps. They are all sitting on the edge of their seats. I feel like a parent telling a child, no you cant open it until Christmas. But I know and I'm sure your fans know that the second season will be well worth the wait.

I hate meth, but I LOVE this show. I'd also like to congratulate Bryan Cranston on his Emmy, and predict that more shall cometh as soon as season 2 is completed!

I think the San Diego Union-Tribune said it best when they called his Emmy a "gratifying upset."

Thank goodness the powers that be saw the immense talent in his performance, and were wise enough to act upon it.

Hats off to the whole cast and crew! I've never joined a discussion topic about a TV show before, but this one deserves every accolade it has received! What an awesome show!

there are very few original shows that are actually worth watching. BB is at the top of that list!

Breaking Bad is our new favorite show! Way to go to all the great actors and actresses and writers etc. who make this show so great!

OH my God I love this show! AMC raves and raves about Mad Men and when I watch it, or try, it's one big yawn after another with me looking at the clock and finally shutting the thing off or changing the channel. NOT so with Breaking Bad. I am left on the edge of my seat every time. It's about money and how and why people need it in society and so many issues I can't even list them here. There isn't an actor on the show who shouldn't get an award. Especially Bruce of course. He is an AMAZING talent! I never realized. He is now my favorite actor. AMC, lay off the Mad Men and focus on Breaking Bad. I can't stand it that the next season won't be showing until next year!!! OUCH!

i watch a ton of tv, currently about 48 different series. some religiously, some less than so..i also watch alot of movies. it would seem that most of the really good writers are doing television, because there is no short supply of great programming..while movie mogul takes far to many craps.
the shield is my personal favorite, but breaking bad is a close 3, but could surpass prison break if the writes remain fearless and keep the characters from becoming politically correct (which means if it is offensive, but in character..do it!). it's original and has the OMG affect, it would be a shame if the AMC networt let this creative landmine go to waste.

Although I have high hopes that "Breaking Bad" will return for a second season, I have seen many great shows dropped because management didn't like the program. I appears that unless enough people really make it an issue that it return, nothing will happen.
Remember Star Trek? they canceled it, but was brought back after the fans raised such hell, they had to put it back on the air.
Keep the faith and let AMC know how you feel about Breaking Bad.
This show I think will be a classic if given the chance it deserves.

Why can't any of these cable channels just simply post on the main page when the new season starts? It is always a mystery and then we miss the premiere & end up 2 or 4 episodes behind.

BTW,if any viewers would like to see a younger (by about 17 years) Anna Gunn then check and see if your local video rental store has the TV series Murder One on their shelves.

There she is in all her beauty in at least that shows first season,not sure about the other two. She's a babe at any age but it's neat to see her at a much younger age.

Umm...make that about 14 years younger not 17. The series came out in 1995.

Mad Men got all the attention; for what reason I still don't know. It's nothing compared to this show.
But I do applaud the efforts of both for sure. 150% better than anything on the so called networks.
Breaking Bad is excellent and I am so glad Bryan got an Emmy for it. If this were a movie, he'd take home the Oscar.
Great job AMC! But promote it more!! More people need to know this kind of quality tv is available.

Though Jess's clear complexion and lively eyes don't suggest meth dealer, I was quite touched by his affectionate caring for Spoog's son amidst the horror of Spoog's house.

BrBa has a smaller scope than The Wire, my favorite series, but its gritty edge makes it a winner.

There was a date in August for the "Premiere" which turned out to be reruns--can someone PLEASE inform fans of the show when Season 2 will start? It shouldn't be this hard to find out. Tell us what's going on. THANKS!!!
