Episode 7 (Season Finale)

The preview synopsis says (among other things): "Skyler's sister, Marie (Betsy Brandt), throws Skyler a baby shower and gives a questionable gift. "

I'll bet it's a pair of stolen high heels.

As the season ends, my thoughts are turning to how can I acquire the DVD set of the first season. I like most people had a friend (best friend in my case) go thru a tryst with cancer. He was the story that ended well ... I was there for a few interferon treatments and it did not look like a picnic. This DVD should be a must for cancer patients to see. If nothing else but to say to themselves "It could be worse". I sure would like to have him see the season. He missed the lions share of the episodes.

@JPB2: When I have info on the DVDs, I'll be sure to let y'all know.

@Alexis: Man, I wouldn't be surprised. That Marie is a crazy one.

She is probably going to give him a bong. Haaa!

What I want to know is Crazy 8's body going to surface on this show. or did I miss something and Walt disposed of it already. It's either in his car or on school grounds perhaps?

user-pic

Ooh, there's something I forgot about--Krazy 8's body. In the episode that followed his, um, demise, we were given the impression that Walt had burned his body. (Remember all that pensive staring into the barbecued chicken on the grill at the family gathering when he announced he had cancer?) But that was only an implication, and as far as I know, not even Jesse has asked what Walt did with his remains.

user-pic

Yeah Alexis,
It is probably in a 55 gal drum made out of...... What kinda plastic was that?

To all who participate in the production of this fine program, I wish to extend a genuine THANK YOU! Your collective talent and bold vision is evident in each perfectly executed episode. For an hour each week I am utterly absorbed by the story you've so deftly started to unfold.

"Breaking Bad" is not only brilliantly and cleverly scripted, but exceptionally and powerfully acted. In my humble opinion, not since "Arrested Development" has a finer, more perfectly cast program graced the airwaves.

Come Emmy and Golden Globe time, I hope with all my heart that this program's greatness (along with Bryan Cranston's) will be recognized!

As an actor myself, I can only hope to one day be fortunate enough to be a part of such a quality show. In summation, I wish to once again convey my gratitude for salvaging what has otherwise been a particularly bleak television season. You can count on my tuning in for every episode next season!

Most Sincerely,
Megan Albertus

Sorry to see this as the finale...thoroughly enjoyed every episode on some many levels. Thank you!

Alexis....I think Walt put his body in a bathtub with some chemical to "dispose" of the body. The bathtub also was broken down chemically, and burned it's way through the floor to the hallway downstairs.

Mild to Wild Bryan I love it what acting!!!

Alexis - We are all unsure of crazy 8's whereabouts. He was not chemically disposed of as rickdadio states above, only his partner (cant think of the bath tub guy's name right now). But the actor who plays crazy 8 has been asked to stick around for production (possibly next season's) in case his character needs to make an appearence. Whether it is for a flashback scene is undetermined. I, personally, would love to see him return (living) because he's a talented actor and it would make for a most interesting episode if he were still alive.

Yow and wow, I'm gasping for breath (no pun or disrespect to Walt intended). I just saw #7. Man, oh man--this is SO great. I was off about the gift to Skylar from her sister (no high heels), but only in a way. I didn't realize she was a kleptomaniac; now both families have something on the other if they want to push it. Of course it could be argued that Walt's crime is the greater of the two, but still, maybe Cuban cigars and kleptomania are only the tip of that iceberg.

It was implied tonight that Walt "dissolved" Krazy 8 as well in whichever acid Jesse used on the other guy. But Ballsdeep has some info I wasn't aware of so who knows. He looked pretty bad to me after Walt strangled him.

On that note--how will we survive till next season? And I'm determined that there will be more seasons. After all, look what positive thinking did for Jesse who couldn't even read Walt's shopping list but had to go get the stuff anyway?

Yes yes yes Breaking Bad Season 1 was amazing, while i often had to tell many of my friends to watch because they had not heard much about it... but no worries they were able to catch up using the online and on demand features...

But honestly let's cut to the chase, breaking bad was the only reason i looked forward to Sundays. So i need more, i want more information about the next season, when can we see more new episodes! I hope it isn't too long because the season seemed way too short! PLEASE UPDATE US AS SOON AS YOU CAN! I am sure there are plenty like me, just sitting here longing for more and information about more.

Thanks

If you can, if it's still available, look at Walt's Wisdom and send it to someone you know. Or to yourself. Aside from the fact that it is very clever and well done, it'll make you think, especially if you've been following the show. I sent it to myself.

It made me teary.

Oh, that Marie!

I'm really, really curious about what's going to happen with her now! When Skyler confronted her in the store, you could see just a trace of regret on Marie's face, but it swept by in an instant. I love her righteous indigation. That is perfect for this character.

Marie is, I think, an attention hound. If I remember correctly, she's the older sister, right? I know in my family at least, sometimes the older ones did some drastic things to draw my parents' attention back, though nothing on this scale!

It seems too that Hank knows Marie has a problem. He wanted out of that room as soon as the tiara was opened!

Which leads me to my next question...if they're so broke, how does Walt have Pinch in his liquor cabinet? Walt seems more the Canadian Mist type. Don't tell me Elliott gave it to him!!

Thank you for the excellent finale of an amazing series. Despite it's shortness, the season was pure gold. I hope you are pleased with the ratings and will make a new season, a full lenght one this time.

This is the greatest show on TV today. PLEASE bring back season 2. I am glad that I recorded all of the first seasons shows. I watch them over and over to see if iI missed any clues for the future. The actors all deserve to win in Hollywood this year!!!! What will I watch in the off-season? Nothing compares to this show!!!

This story is developing into other stories. Walt's sister-in-law is a petty thief, and his brother-in-law the narc, smokes illegal cigars. Walt is trying to justify his illegal paractice with his brother-in-law. And now Walt's wife likes his friskiness. Keeping me on the edge of my seat. The writers are doing a GREAT job. Brink back Breaking Bad!!!

AMC “Breaking Bad” is breaking new ground in the realm of drugs in the hopes to gain dollars for a man that is facing an incurable disease. I give this movie a true thumbs up. Fresh ideas, refreshing actors and a game play that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Truly a work of art. Indeed bring back breaking bad :). We are spreading the word on this little gem.
