Controversial and Light Years Ahead of it's Time!
There is no doubt that Breaking Bad has a created buzz! For some who believe the show is a negative influence complain, others who love the show rave about it's many opportunities to reflect and teach.
Bravo Vince Gilligan--forgive me for saying so at the expense of sounding corny, but in the age of "Oprahism" and the communication age so much is to be explored and remains to be created in television as a medium, and what you have created here is masterful!
AMC is also mindful and respectful of those who criticize by allowing all opinions to have their voice, regardless of what side of the fence they are on. Well done! To have the courage to write the truth to one's own vision in the face of adversity in spite of public opinion can only mean one thing.

Really have enjoyed this series so far, like alot of my fav quirky series'; this one has some eps that make me uncomfortable...notably Ep 2 is not one of my favs...I thought Walt should have taken charge more and it was pretty sick...but that's okay.
I loved Ep 3 and 4 very much, just busted out laughing when Walt Jr. told Sr. "Why don't you just Die already!" And seeing Jessie freaking out at his house with the hallucination of two bikers coming at him with hand grenades and machates was excellent. Walt becoming somewhat of a Charles Bronson vigilante with that jerk in the fancy car rocked my world also. You go Walt!
Where this series is going remains so out there, and I'm just enjoying every twist and turn it takes.

I am going to admit that I have no idea what night Breaking Bad is on....when the show first started, i caught the pilot and was hooked. it's smart and funny and edgy, and i have tivo'd it ever since....in the sea of post strike television, Breaking Bad is fresh and smart...im 30 years old...and to me, dumbed down sitcoms(according to jim...yuck) and reality tv(just about all of it) make my brain numb...and so i am left with some really interesting options...mostly on the history channel and discovery channel...but now definity on the AMC channel....its nice to know that once a week, ill find this gem of a show on my recorded list....thanks for the great show AMC, ill be watching for more shows in the future.
