Breaking Bad Editors Kelley Dixon and Skip MacDonald Land ACE Eddie Award Nominations

Today the American Cinema Editors announced their nominees for the 63rd Annual ACE Eddie Awards honoring excellence in film and television editing, and Breaking Bad editors Kelley Dixon and Skip MacDonald have both been honored with nods in the Best Edited One-Hour Series for Commercial Television category.

MacDonald and Dixon were nominated for their work on Season 5 Episode 5, “Dead Freight,” and Season 5 Episode 8, “Gliding Over All,” respectively. The nomination is the third for Dixon, the second for MacDonald, and Breaking Bad‘s sixth and seventh overall. Dixon and MacDonald will face off against the editors of ABC’s Nashville, NBC’s Smash and AMC’s own Mad Men for the award. (Click here to read more about Mad Men‘s nomination.)

The awards will be presented during a ceremony on Sat., Feb. 16 in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
