Breaking Bad Lands Five Critics' Choice Nominations

Today the Broadcast Television Journalists Association announced their nominees for the second annual Critics' Choice Television Awards, and Breaking Bad was honored with five nominations across categories such as Best Actor in a Drama Series, Best Supporting Actor and Actress in a Drama Series and Best Drama Series.
The nominations are part of 11 garnered by AMC this year, with five nominations going to Mad Men and one to The Pitch.

In the Best Drama category, Breaking Bad will compete with HBO's Game of Thrones, Showtime's Homeland, PBS's Downton Abbey, CBS's The Good Wife and AMC's own Mad Men for the award.
In the acting categories, Bryan Cranston (Walter White), Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman) Giancarlo Esposito (Gustavo Fring) and Anna Gunn (Skyler White) are all nomintated, facing such actors as Game of Thrones's Peter Dinklage, Justified's Timothy Olyphant and Mad Men's Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks and John Slattery for their respective awards.
The second annual Critics' Choice Television Awards will be presented June 18.
