Talk Forum - What You're Saying

AMCtv.com awards its Talk forum commenters quoted in our weekly "What You're Saying" post with prizes like a Breaking Bad t-shirt or a Breaking Bad baseball hat (limit one per person).

With Season 2 over, the fans are speculating over what Walt's going to tell Skyler in Season 3. Plus, there's more talk about that plane crash viewers still can't get out of their minds.

• "Walt might come up with the story of being a bookie. It would explain the second cell phone, the long absences (to Vegas), the cash only payments. It is a cash-only, more-forgivable crime that might be spun to get Skyler's forgiveness." -- Jeff Hauge

• "Walt will tell the truth. Skyler will have no part in believing an uncle gave him the money, or he won it in Vegas. (Even though I think that is a great idea!) It looked as if Walt wants to come clean... this is ripping him apart internally." -- DrakeFlix

• "Walt can't tell Skyler the truth about the meth and the money. His hidden life from Sky (as well as everyone else) is one of the essential tension points in the plot. No, he will either come up with another lie or somehow avoid addressing the issue altogether." -- EddieH

• "If Walt's connection with Jesse is discovered by Skyler, then Hank will inevitably find out. He has all the evidence to implicate Walt as Heisenberg, so I think any new lies that Walt tells will fall apart pretty quickly, at least in Hank's mind." -- Breaking Better

• "Walt should have spent his time covering all of his tracks, and looking at all possibilities, and having a plan for each one. It's what I would have done, and it sounds like it is what Gus does... In short, Walt should have done his homework!" -- tooty toot toot

• "The plane crash was a fantastic use of symbolism. It was the perfect culmination of the downward spiral everyone's life was taking: crash and burn. The little stuffed animal was the perfect use to symbolize the loss of innocence." -- heymare66

Walt will tell Skyler the whole story in episode 1.. it still doesn't bring them back together, it just drives her further away.. also there will be some growing suspense as Skyler tells Walt she is debating what she is going to do with this new information.. Skyler finally informs Walt that she is going to turn him in.. Walt thinks about killing Skyler, but can't do such a thing.. Skyler decides at the last minute that she doesn't want to tell Hank after all, but tells Walt to stay out of their lives for good.

Dammit what does one have to do to get a sweater or shirt ?
Not that I'd be able to use the sweater anytime soon.

It's called "selective marketing", hsipatman

If I were Walt, I wouldn't tell Skyler the truth. She doesn't love him enough to help him turn things around. At this point, she would probably turn him in.

Shirt! I don't need no stinking shirt... I just want my season 3 fix of Breaking Bad... Congratulations folks... Wear it proudly and ask Vince to have it signed by the cast...

Thank God there is FINALLY an incredibly intelligent program that does not require one to take a shot of insulin prior to watching. And the fact that there isn't one talentless bimbo stuffed in a tube top with a visible bra strap in site, is an extra bonus!

Skyler will crucify Walt for any explanation of his whereabouts, second cell phone or his recent behavior. There is NO lie, excuse, or rambling as to the events taken place in the last two Season's that Skyler is willing to believe because Walter isn't the meek mild mannered Walt she used manipulate. Plain and simple, Walt's days with Skyler are over...he has changed...he has Heisenberg to back his personality when pushed into a corner and Skyler can't berate him anymore. Walt will move on with a new direction involving more sinister actions because he has to..its the only part of Walt that has made accomplishments in a short period of time and has given him power he never felt before. We will see Walt grow into a monster before our eyes, test our empathy of him, and wonder if he can be saved from this downward spiral of moral decay. Once Skyler knows she can't control Walt now, she will move on to Ted who is willing to be pushed around to cover himself from embezzlement of his company's monies and Skyler holds the cards to Ted's future.

Hell yeah! I got myself a "Breaking Bad" t-shirt. I will wear it with great pride 'till the cows come home!
No no, I will wear it until people will ask me if I go to church all the time. I will kink an eyebrow: "Eh, what's that you say?" They will point to my shirt, seeing it being afflicted with years of use and abuse, and claim I am holy. I will finally pick up what they are putting down and realize, that yes, indeed, my shirt is full of holes.

I laugh. Vince says he likes Grimm's Fairy Tales (I don't know how to do italics.) Happy endings my ass.
Real life is not about the struggle at first, the fight, and then the conquer.
Sometimes people just lose.
Ideally it would be nice to end it this way. But come to grips with reality. We are born into sin and I just don't see how the fuck we can die being pure.
I will not post anymore. I have said enough.

Jeepers, tooty toot toot....what air are you breathing lately???????????? Are you living near a nuclear power plant?? You crack me up with your postings, sometimes...LOL

Congrats to you for winning a shirt, you earned it!!!!!!

Walt will say he won the Money playing Poker (Cash Games). Some Poker games can go on for days at a time. Walt would make a Great Poker Player as he is highly Intelligent/ logical and detail oriented. As I recall in Season1 Walt and the Family are Playing NLHE (No Limit Hold Em) at there house with Hank and Marie and Walt goes "all in". Walt would be perfectly able to use Gambling as a Front. His Heisenberg alter ego would also be a benefit, as Heisenberg is not risk averse.

I think Walt will tell Skyler that he and Jesse have been making bank by hooking up together to grow and sell some hydroponic. It would at least go along with his first lie about buying pot from Jesse! I want to be Jesse's girl!

I just want to know when is season 3 starting?
Serious withdrawl, everything else on t.v bores me, (except 24) I'm gonna have to crash till it's back on.
Somebody revive me when it starts.
I need that Heisenburg drip, SnarlllL !

P.S. Cheer up tooty, you don't die being pure, your pure when your dead. Live now!

He got the money from the Devil when he was up in Espanola, NM ;)

So if I got a Tshirt already, does that mean I can't have a cap?

Doesn't matter what Walt tells her, she'll never believe him anyway.

Heck he could tell her the truth and she wouldn't buy it.

WHERE can I buy a BB T-shirt?

Hey Tooty Toot Toot...to paraphrase the great Michangelo, the artist, painter and sculptor also stated that God was unfair to mankind. God sets the rules for man to be perfect and pure and man must strived for that perfection, but God sets mankind up to fail and never meets that perfection as God demands.....So man never wins...And since Michangleo and Da Vinci were the closet to God's perfection, according to the experts, they never made perfection either....So no one makes the perfect grade of purity...... you just have to keep on trying and do your best!! Michangelo kicked butt in his time, so he should know!! LOL

Walt is going to tell Skyler that he was seeing someone else to ease his suffering, but didn't cheat on her. He figures that is the best way to expain the second phone and all the strange behavior, but without saying he actually cheated on her. He will say that this person and himself just had a close relationship, but didn't get intimate and that she took a last minute flight to explosion city.

default userpic

...I forgot to add that this secret person was giving him money.

default userpic

No, the little stuffed animal was actually a symbol of his condemnation. Walt will have the image ingrained into his mind and will never be able to find peace, it was the cealing of his fate. Walt died with that teddy bear and Heisenberg will be doomed to walk the earth alone, haunted by a terrible, but lovely pink symbol of innoncense. Teddy was a sign from heaven, a sign of wrath. But don't sweat it Walt, you have a classroom full of great kids who need your brilliant instructionmm and a beautifull family.

You know what would be crazy? If we find out that Donald did not actually cause that accident! Maybe it was some malfunction, or a combination of errors. That would really throw people off. Heck, we could even blame it on Bin Laden.

default userpic

well i have to say this really good but the only thing is when jessie was in the rundown crackhead place his teeth where so white come on he smokes pot and meth like his teeth would not be white if i am right if not do hate

I don't know that Walt will be able to tell her ANYTHING. She is so distrustful, and feels so betrayed that she will not believe anything he says. I do not think that Walt really loves her anymore--I think he loves the idealized memories of their happier times but cannot stay in a relationship with her now. His days of being a sweet, passive husband are over. Skyler needs to be the strong partner in her relationships, so I think Ted will be her new partner. I foresee a bitter divorce battle with custody of the children being a major issue (although I suspect Walt will have trouble proving his psychological soundness as a father); maybe he will even become desperate enough to kidnap them and move to Mexico. Thanks for your excellent show. I am totally addicted. Is there a twelve-step program for Breaking Bad addicts?
