Hank's Blog - I Prefer the Other Kind of Pillow Talk
Hank Schrader here. I'm pretty sure most of you already know this, but my brother-in-law's got lung cancer. It's been real hard on the family, and just crazy. This is a guy who's never smoked a day in his life. Hell, I don't know if he's ever even seen a cigarette -- he's that straight-laced.
I shouldn't even be talking about this, but I figure, the five people reading this, it's probably okay. It's a real touchy subject, but Walt didn't want treatment and my sister-in-law was not having it. Definitely my wife's sister, all right? Now these gals here, they have big, huge hearts. I give them major credit for facing this head on. The family's been hit hard, and they take care of business.
So the girls spearheaded an intervention for Walt. Now I agree, absolutely, we needed to talk to him -- no question. But, an intervention? Complete with a "talking pillow?" I mean, interventions are for spoiled numbskull hoodlums and their pearl-clutching parents. "Oh Billy, please don't crash the Mercedes again!" Give me a break. Maybe if you made little Billy there get a job, he wouldn't be spending all his time zonked out of his mind on Adderall he probably boosted from your medicine cabinet. But, I digress.
It was a good meeting, and again, the girls really put their hearts into it. I just -- Sky, I love you honey, but couldn't we have had a, I don't know, a talking baseball or something? I felt like an enormous tool holding that pillow.
I love you, Hank! You are my favorite part of the show.
I can't wait for season 2 this is the best show on TV!!
Well hank, thank you for mentioning me in your blog seeing I'm one of the five that is reading this... LOL. I'm looking forward to watching the marathon of season one tonight and season two premier Sunday will have me on the edge of my seat I'm sure. "No Doze" stated that things went well for the season two premier in Hollywood, that will give us fans hope for a season three. Great blog "Hank"

Drug Intervention
Aww come on, Hank, there has to be a good 8 to 10 of us out here hanging on you're every word.
I'm thinking they all knew it wasn't you're brand of pillow talk hence the laying out of a nice cheese tray - you dug into that in a big hurry big fella ...no worries darling, a lot of ladies like a man heavily armed with a little meat on his bones - to get you there and keep ya in place.
Times are awful tough, likely to get even tougher I'm afraid, for all of you now so never forget to stick together, stand by one another and it wouldn't hurt to have 'family first' tattoo's on your flesh some place you'll see it everyday of your life.

I'm a new reader. I was led here by a friend who said you might have some interesting DEA stories. I love reading about this kinda stuff and looking for 'stupid criminal' videos on YouTube.
So, tell us, what's the most interesting case you've ever been on?
I'm sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. I know that's gotta be tough on the family. Be strong for him. I hope he's doing well, in the meantime, and is still living life to the fullest. Tell him to fight it with a true survivor attitude!

Pamala: Not sure if I’m the tattoo type (way too much room for regret there), but I agree with the sentiment about family. As for that cheese tray, it was pretty sweet. Pillow or no pillow, bless Skyler for not cheaping out on us.
hsjpatman: Well, now, I said I felt like a tool holding that pillow, not that I was a full on Black and Decker cordless drill. I mean, I hear ya, guy, but… gotta support the ladies. As for Darth Schrader, I’m not sure what you’re getting at exactly, but I like the sound of it. I’m gonna have to remember that one for my nephew.
