Entertainment Weekly Reveals Season 2 Plot Details

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly highlights Breaking Bad in their "Winter TV Preview" section, revealing key plot details about the upcoming second season, which premieres March 8.
"Walt and Jesse upgrade their cooking process, pile up the fat stacks, and build their street cred," creator Vince Gilligan told the magazine, hinting that their move upwards in the drug trade will draw "unpleasant attention" from other drug cartels and endanger the life of Walt's DEA brother-in-law. As a result, Walt will get some legal advice from a Godfather-like consigliere, Saul Goodman (played by Mr. Show's Bob Odenkirk). "Saul hides behind that veneer of buffoonery," Gilligan explained, "but he's actually going to give Walt a lot of very sage advice."
The preview also reveals an upcoming romantic interest for Jesse: A tattoo artist played by Gilmore Girls' Krysten Ritter.
Elsewhere in this week's issue, Stephen King lists in his wishes and hopes for the new year that one of his "favorite returning cable series," the "incomparable Breaking Bad," will "kick ass."
Before Season 2 arrives, catch up with Season 1 On Demand beginning February 9.

Hi:
I wish we didn't have to wait until March 8th for the new season but I guess we have no choice.
I am definitely buying Season 1 when it comes out in February. I would still like to know more about the kids in the Chemistry class. Who are they and why aren't they listed in the credits? Have we seen any of them in other TV series and/or movies.
Bryan, Zach you have done a bang-up job in creating what I think is THE most original series on TV. It is too long between the old season and the new and we are anxiously waiting.
I just wish Skyler wasn't so whiny and would give Walt a break. She is pregnant and mood swings are prevalent in pregnancy. Been there, done that ! I have the date on my calendar circled and it can't come soon enough.
Rock On ! Thanks for such a great show, Shelley1
we too have it circled on the calendar and can't wait!
I look forward to a lot of new twits and turns! I wonder how Walt and Jesse will handle the stress!!!
I myself am looking forward to the new season of Breaking Bad and I know everyone on my Breaking Bad Fan site feels the same. If ever you want good advice or a review, there's no need to wait for the critics word, just ask the master of writings himself "Stephen King." I would like to thank Vince and all his staff and crew for an outstanding series that gives us something to look forward to watch on television. AMC's Breaking Bad ROCK's the Nation!
Wow, Odenkirk? Amazing! This and the Prisoner are the most anticipated shows of this year.
I am so excited this show is coming back. I thought it was cancelled when I saw it had not yet returned. This show is the only reason I checked the AMC website, and I was excited to see its return for March 8th. I was never disappointed with an episode and thought the show had a great ending to a great first season. I loved looking forward to this show every week and can't wait until it returns. Honestly, this show should go on for a long time to come.
