Vote for Your Favorite Moment Between Walt and Jesse
Walt and Jesse are the modern-day Odd Couple -- if Felix and Oscar were frequently involved in Class A felonies, that is. Yet despite their differences, they've got great chemistry. Relive Walt and Jesse's best moments in the first season, then vote for your favorite in the poll below. Explain your choice in the comments section and you'll be entered in a random drawing to win a set of Breaking Bad test tube shot glasses.

it's totally a tie between the gore and yeah, science... although i must say jesse had some other fantastic lines throughout the season!
The bathroom fight was amazing. You could really feel Bryan's rage and all of the action- Bryan dragging him off, Aaron scrambling for the meth- was very realistic and well done.
I loved "Yeah, science!" because of the amazing writing of this scene and its performance by the actors. The remnants of Walt and Jesse's teacher-student relationship is so evident in this exchange, yet the two are in the most improbable situation. Love it and love the show!
The Gore scene is a prime example of the understatement and 'opposite worlds' conflict used to hammer points home, usually in the form of clever one-liners. Breaking Bad is simply the most original series I've seen.
I Know Chemistry!
It was one of the defining moments that began my love for Breaking Bad!
While they're all good, I really find the bathroom kick fight very amusing. For one thing, it's exactly the type of "fight" that two misfits like Walt and Jesse would have! Neither of them is strong or gutsy enough to use their fists. They could really get hurt that way! But if you're kicking, you can get in a good blow and pull back before you get too hurt.
The other part I like is how they match each other, kick for kick, so that it resembles a dance. There's something beautiful and hilarious about the whole orchestration.
You're making me choose one favorite scene! How about when Jesse notoced Walt's chest and they talked about his cancer? Jesse's a punk but he's still compassionate.
I like the RV cooking part...It is just too funny...cooking in your underwear....that is funny to me....Love the show!! Can't wait till season 2!!!
Thats a tough one! I had to go for the bathroom fight. I love how Walt sheds the timid outerlayer and starts kickin some ass! The two of them fight like girls, hahah its hilarious!
Bathroom Fight. By far my favorite choice, So believable as they both display how desperate they are. Great scene.
DON'T put me in the drawing cuz I've won a set already
No drawing for me but I wanted to add my .02 cents in here anyway.
Its the human stuff between the two I love and thats a toss up between Walt standing over Jesses bed in the hospital and then avenging him and the moment Jesse understands Walt has cancer.
I love that stuff!

BreakBad!
im goin with "yeah science", humorous how jesse covers his joy for the "high grade yield" with an appreciation for science itself, although he does have an eye for "art" too lol surprised the "youre an f-ing artist!" segment isnt among the main selection that was a good one too =]
I have a hard time picking a favorite scene from the whole Season One of Breaking Bad. Since I do have to choose one, I am going to go with the gore scene. Walt's sarcasm when he explains why he wanted Jesse to get the plastic container and why in general he needs to listen to what he tells him to do is priceless. He is letting him know that he isn't just making up things to order him around. He has reasons why he tells him to do certain things. This show is awesome!
The Gore has to be the best scene out of them all however I also like when Walt is telling Jesse what kind of container to get over the phone in the hardware store. Him trying to see if a body will fit without being noticed, priceless.
Yeah science...the science is key here, and I like how Walt can completely rearrange the major composition of making meth and replace it with something no tweeker cook would ever think of, if that is at all possible, he is one kick ass chemist.
Other, the conversation at the junk yard waiting for Tuco was very funny and played out well.
The Gore had to be the up there as well.
My favorite Jesse and Walt moment was when they had to team up and find a way to steal the necessary ingredient from the chemical warehouse. They tied the door around the port o potty locking the security guard inside. They managed to get the stuff even though it was in a gigantic barrel. It had to be the slowest getaway of all time! Love these two.
My favorite is when they decide to roll the 120 gallon drum of methylamine out of the chemical supply. Classic!!!!!!
the scene where walt blows up tuco's office, loved that scene.
The Gore was my favorite scene. The way that the entire scene played out (even before the clip) was outstanding... Ironically, it made me want to say 'yeah science' at that scene.
My fave moment is early in the season--and in the relationship between Walt and Jesse. They are scoping out cook sites and Jesse is atop a butte. He yells to Walt that there's nothing out there but a few cows, and that about two miles away there's a "cow house." Walt replies "cow house?" "Yeah," says Jesse. "A house where cows live." Walt mutters something about a barn, shaking his head in disbelief, "cow house...." This is brilliant (and hilarious) foreshadowing of the numerous gaps these unlikely partners continue to face, and it is these differences in character that keeps the relstionship in absurd conflicts. Just when it appears they are growing closer and reaching understanding, some Jesseism pops up that is so ridiculously true to character that it erases any creeping fear that he might actually be smartening up. It would be a shame to lose the ironic twists that gives this groundbreaking program the rare rating as as "comedy drama." Great acting and cliche-free writing--not to mention realistic chemistry--catapult this far into the realm of originality. A+++

I really enjoy "I Know "Chemistry" because it sets the overall mood and tone of the entire series. I begins the relationship between Jessie and Walt.
The Gore in episode 3 was absolutely the most heavy thing I have ever seen on TV. The emotions that they were going through were unbelievable. I really felt right there with Walt and Jesse trying to clean up this horrible mess
My favorite moment is when they r starnded in the desert blew up the generator and ar on the last leg of their sanity. Jesse asks walt can't we use this shit to make a battery or a robot or something..and Walt collects himself and starts gathering things together and jesse ask...what the hell r u doin..andwalt replies I'm doing what u said..and jesse looks at him and his eyes light up and in his malnutritioned stupor says...YOUR GONNA MAKE A ROBOT?..hahaha I laughed my ass off.. love the show fav. of all time keep up the good work! Biggest Fan!
