AMC Renews Breaking Bad for a Second Season

bb_blog_season_2_renew_key_art.jpg

AMC announced yesterday that it will renew Breaking Bad for a second season.

"From critical praise to strong ratings and a devoted audience, Breaking Bad further reinforced AMC as a top producer of high-quality, distinctive television," said Charlie Collier, Executive Vice President and General Manager of AMC. "Breaking Bad is a powerful, intelligent and thought-provoking series that clearly resonated with viewers and critics alike. We're excited for a second season of Breaking Bad with new and provocative storylines that will delve deeper into the next chapter in the life of Walter White." The second season, unlike the first which ran a brief seven episodes due to the writer's strike, will consist of thirteen episodes, the same number as Mad Men's Season 1 and upcoming Season 2.

This is great news! Breaking Bad is the best show on TV since The Wire ended.

user-pic

So when can we catch this ...? In September maybe ??

Are they shooting now ??

Give us a little more ... we are fans after all :D

user-pic

Good news.

GREAT NEWS!

REALLY FANTASTIC NEWS ;o)

Congrats to the brilliant cast and crew as well as all the devoted fans who know great TV when they see it.

And of course BIG THANKS and love to all the powers that be involved in making sure we get more top notch TV in the form of a second season of Breaking Bad

user-pic

I wasn't worried!

default userpic

If the quality of the second season is anything like the first (same writers), then I am soooo looking forward to this. I’ve never seen a show at all like it before; so original.

default userpic

is there something about the release date? anyway it's a FANTASTIC news.

default userpic

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to it! You see what happens when you apply yourself? Now remember, this is the FIRST day of the rest of this season! How are you going to make the most of it?

user-pic

Thank God! I can hardly wait! What a great decision by AMC. I was a little worried because of the length of the Writer's Strike but everything has worked out. Congratulations to the Actors, Writers, Producers, Directors, Sponsors, Staff, Administration and everyone involved with Breaking Bad for your fine work. Break a leg!

default userpic

All good, but when?

default userpic

This is such a great show, we are so glad to hear its coming back.Would like to know when though?

default userpic

Many of you have been asking about when the second season will shoot/air/etc. As of now, there has been no confirmed timeline, but please keep checking back for further updates. Thanks!

default userpic

That is GREAT news!!

user-pic

Outstanding! With the roar of the first season and only being seven episodes you can only imagine what season two will bring with thirteen episodes. Season three... Looking forward to the action packed fall preview.

user-pic

Yea! I can't wait!

default userpic

THE TREMENDOUS DEPTH OF THE FORESHADOWING PROMISES A FANTASTIC FUTURE FOR THE SHOW. IT'S SIMPLY ONE OF THOSE "CANT PUT IT DOWN" TYPES OF MEDIA. SERIOUSLY, WHEN CAN WE EXPECT MORE? CONGRATULATIONS ON A MARVELOUS WORK OF ART.

default userpic

This is the best news I've heard all year. Can't wait to hear when season 2 will begin. I dont know if I can wait much longer. Gotta get my fix! Need more TUCO!!!

default userpic

YO...AMC!!!!
I can hardly wait to program my DVR. When...When...WHEN????!!!

With love,
The Pacster

default userpic

Good now we can cap Tuco.

Good bye Tuco!

Walter's nothing-to-lose attitude is the engine for this plot.

i hope the writers remember this.

Tuco will get in Walt's way and vice versa. They can only co-exist for so long.

I think there will have to be some eventual cross threading of the plot back to his brother in law but who knows?

There is a definite challenge for the creative team to keep it going.

They wont jump the shark if they stick with Walt. Everything MUST spin off of him by no more than 1 degree. If you get 2 degrees of seperation away from Walt the plot will unravel. Its a tough set of parameters but they have to stick with it.

For instance the plot almost started to drag when jesse's family started to get developed. Boring! Jesse is the wildcard in this, if he doesnt keep agitating the plot devices for Walt then somebody else will have to. Jesse is there. He is ready and he was (is) crazy about meth. He started to lose his balls a little bit there with the whole family visit thing. What was that about? But he is definitely capable of more mayhem.

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. It cant turn out well for anybody but the viewers.

user-pic

omg this is great!! i really hope the second season starts soon!!! i cant wait to see whats gonna happen!!

default userpic

I'm so glad to see that they are going to do a second season. This is a great show!

default userpic

I'm so excited that there is going to be another season. I've never waited for a show before but Breaking Bad is one of the best written and best directed shows I've seen. We made our friends watch it and they're hooked too. I hope you can stretch it out to as many seasons as possible. Keep it going, Great Job!

default userpic

thank god, We have been having withdrawel's. This is the best show.... when you get the 13 done, can you start on more?? ha

default userpic

I love everything about this show. I even called Entertainment Weekly and told them I am going to cancel my subscription unless they do major press on Breaking Bad.

The score is perfect, the music fits each scene. The words are fabulous; the camera angles are the most creative I have ever seen. Bryan deserves an Emmy and Golden Globe, as does the actor playing his side-kick. I especially love the son. Not only is he a good actor, he's a major babe. I initally resisted this show because I thought it was a Weeds knock-off, but it blows Weeds completely off the planet. Woohooo

default userpic

A great big THANK YOU to AMC for renewing one of the best shows on TV! Breaking Bad hooks the viewer in immediately, and doesn't let go! Excellent show, cast, writing, direction, music - everything.
Keep up the exceptional job you're doing, for as long as possible, Yo!

When is the second season going to start?
This is the BEST show on TV.
Too bad there is a pause so soon in the program.
ross.paolajr@gmail.com

default userpic

Duh! Of course they renewed it. This is a fantastic show. I can't wait to see season 2, and I'm looking forward to seeing the show uncut on DVD. AMC and Vince Gilligan have struck gold with Brian Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, and Dean Norris. They'd be crazy not to keep this gang going. Of course, major kudos to the writers - I haven't had a show make me laugh like this in a long time.

"There's a new kingpin in town."

default userpic

Got in on this show during the rebroadcast on the advice of my mom after she heard a radio interview with Bryan Cranston in Chicago. Could not believe what I was seeing. Great, well written, exciting show. Kudos to AMC for having the balls to show such a cutting edge program. I have never taken drugs in my life and am totally against them, but you have me rooting for the Meth dealers!!! Can't wait for the next season.

user-pic

Thanks much AMC. You have created the first show better than Twin Peaks and X - Files.

user-pic

When is the show gonna be available on DVD? The unbox option is far to big a pain in the butt for me.

default userpic

I can relax now...knowing the show is going on.....thanks

default userpic

Why do we have to wait until September? It's much better than Mad Men's. I want much more than just 13 more episodes, how about 26.

default userpic

Thank goodness it's coming back! My family and I are thrilled.

default userpic

I agree! When is the next season ganna start! Even a ballpark range?? After watching the first season I got a lot of people watching the replays and everyone loves it. Its like Weeds...except with real drugs and way narlier!ha

default userpic

Hey, what about reruns. I missed the first 3 episodes. Got hooked on 4th one and recorded all those. Will there be reruns in the off season?

default userpic

Well they played the first 7 at the begining of the year and then the following week they started from episode 1. Im sure they will play them again right before the NEW SEASON! I thought you could get the episodes from this website? Im sure they are somewhere out there.

default userpic

you guys have created one of if not the most exciting and
riveting series in forever! probably since the sopranos
hit the market! please understand mr. cranston and aaron paul are the greatest duo ever! ,,in at least these days in such a watered down censored program field! mr. cranston
was brilliant in malcom in the middle! i wish that would have never ended! but to continue with the series of breaking bad is absolutely the best choice you could ever make!
my only issue with the masses is they never knew it was coming! i would like to extend my serious opinion on the advertising to the correct demographic in absolution!
it will get you all awards!!! i love it and very few of my friends or satellite customers even heard of it! the ones who have,,,,
were raving like they just come upon microwave popcorn!
please retain the same cast and get the thirteen episodes
complete! no cookie cutting!!!! if an episode is late, so be it! i extend your congratulations on your decision, and i cannot wait for the season to begin! this will put amc on the map for more than classics! HAILS AND SALUTES TO YOU ALL! MR. CRANSTON, YOU ARE THE MAN!!
BRENT ALLEN!

default userpic

That is excellent news! I absolutely loved the first season and have been waiting for the second one. Breaking Bad is the only thing i watch on television. Its a brilliant show. Ive been watching series one on the net almost every other week.

Cant wait for season two!

user-pic

Finding this news just made my day, but with quality like this I'm not surprised. I've been a fan of Vince's since TXF and have been following him around for over a decade. Leaving that show was the best thing he did, it did nothing but hold him back and bring him down like so many others. Now we get to enjoy him the way he's meant to be enjoyed.

And I've been a diehard Brian fan since his TV stints in the early 90's, remember Seinfeld to name one? This is one of my guilty pleasures and I'm so thrilled that I'll get to indulge for an entire season this time around.

default userpic

Yeah-- like they weren't gonna renew the best freakin' show on TV. I love the research you have put into the show, I remember being in many similar circumstances in my past life and appreciate the reality and seriousness you put into this. Thanks for the entertainment!!!

default userpic

I'd like to congratulate all the cast and technical crew for the amazing job they're doing, specially Mr. Cranston and Aaron Paul for the superb acting.

We (me and my dad) became addicted to the show and you're building a legion of fans here in Sao Paulo / Brazil.

See ya

It took you guys THIS LONG to pick BB up for a second season? What are you, insane? This series is a masterwork equivalent to anything on HBO, and confirms AMC as one of the last bastions of brilliant television in an era of glossy idiocy.

Hurry up with season 2, dammit! Or I'll kidnap all of you and force you to churn out an episode a week.

default userpic

Congrats, all, for a very deserving job well done. See you in Season 2.

default userpic

Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!

Can't wait. Breaking Bad is one of the best shows I have ever watched.

default userpic

I'm so glad someone in Hollywood got their head out of their ass and renewed Breaking Bad. I'm also glad that the admin of AMC's website isn't involved with BB. I'm trying to find out when season 2 begins...you think it would be in "Schedule", or BB Main, no just an endless loop. Kudos to BB... BOOOOO to Website.

default userpic

I can't wait. :) I'll keep checking back here for an updated schedule. When is season 2 going to air?

user-pic

This is the best news I've heard in weeks! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! This show is absolutely unparalleled. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are nothing short of genius. Combined with the brilliant writing, masterful directing and production, and flawless camerawork, I honestly consider this show to be a beautiful piece of art. It easily rivals all of my HBO favorites, (all of which have now been canceled). AMC has undoubtedly put together a rare "dream team" of cast and crew. One can only hope the network can truly comprehend and appreciate what a gem it's holding. I really can't wait for Braking Bad to once-again liberate me from the constant barrage of cinematic garbage the major networks keep attempting to force-feed me.

default userpic

I do enjoy the show, maybe for different reasons. It sure shows a wife that most guys would rather die of cancer than live with ... talk about manipulative! The whole nonsexual (1st ep), "talk pillow" "counselling" session made me laugh out loud. She's sure easy to dislike ... good actress work.
One concern I have is the show is -rapidly- becoming dated. Labs in the US are rapidly dying out. The whole red /white/blue process as shown is now only of historical interest, since ephedrine can't be obtained in qty, as is the phenylacetone method -- the precursors are very tightly watched. "Superlabs" in Mexico are grinding out the product and taking it across the border with, believe it or not, Mexican army protection.

I too would like any information, however vague, on when the show is going back into production. This is one of the better shows on. It's good to see quality actors like Raymond Cruz working; he's the pro who played the sniper from the Tom Clancy books ("Chavez") from "Clear and Present Danger" and so forth.

Thanks!

default userpic

Yes i agree this is the best show since the wire ended! We need more Tuco!! I'm so excited!!!
When will this season begin?

default userpic

Hey - I saw a couple who missed episodes. I personally didn't get to see the Pilot as when the show aired, the Pilot wasn't Episode one. Here it's called Episode one - so there is a longer, original episode one if you only watched on TV like I did when it came out.

ALL the episodes are available on the main page - all 7 from season one for viewing. I've watched some MTV online shows and the quality is excellent - esp when you are interested in a show and you can even make the box full screen. It's good WITH speakers or with headphones. So to the one who missed episodes 1 through 3 - and if no one told you, you can begin watching right now. In fact, when Breaking Bad first came out, before the show even aired, the Episodes were available On Demand and on the site.

Let's see if the links work here: (no but I've added the links)

Season 1
Episode 1: Pilot :

Episode 2: Cat's in the Bag...

Episode 3: ...And the Bag's in the River
http://www.amctv.com/originals/breakingbad/episode3
Episode 4: Cancer Man

Episode 5: Gray Matter

Episode 6: Crazy Handful of Nothin'

Episode 7: A No-Rough-Stuff-Type Deal
http://www.amctv.com/originals/breakingbad/episode7

This was one of the very best shows I've seen - I can't even think of another more entertaining creation by any of the pay or cable channels...much less main stream TV. I love Bryan Cranston and the subject matter is edgy, exciting and just edge of your seat, IMO.

I never knew there was a chance there would NOT be a Season 2 so reading that it's been renewed for a 2nd season is quite reassuring although like the rest, I'd love to know when. When they mention September in the article they are referring to the other original series.

And, if you didn't notice, they compared it to that other series saying that rather than only SEVEN episodes in Season 2, there will be a total of 13.

Awesome and you know, of all the channels I could imagine creating such a dramatic, darkly comedic and highly entertaining new series, AMC would be the very LAST channel I'd ever suspect. In fact, had someone not told me about it, I'd have never even known to look since AMC generally shows old movies - movie classics from the 40's, 50's - earlier and later but just old movies I usually am not interested in. For AMC to create such a cutting edge show - I wish AMC would advertise Breaking Bad through other venues to make others like myself aware that such an excellent, unique and out of character for AMC show actually is airing and being created.

The audience that AMC might target would be anyone really but especially say those who watch shows like Dead Like Me, 6 Feet Under, old shows as mentioned like Twin Peaks - I mean anything off the wall. If cross advertising is an option I'd advertise the show on say MTV possibly, VH1, FOX - that would be a good one for a huge audience... Oh, perhaps Sundance or the Independent Film Channel. I'd assume you wouldn't be able to advertise on the major cable channels like HBO, Cinemax and Showtime but any channel playing the original series from those channels in rerun format - like A&E playing the Sopranos and BET playing the Wire - OH AND DON'T FORGET OLD VIC MACKEY from FX. Of all the channels I mentioned, advertising on FX would be probably the best bet of all since they have so many shows they've created that are so popular like The Riches and Vic Mackey (the name slips my mind). UPN is showing reruns of things like Southpark, Sex in the City and Dead Like Me - so that might be a more cost effective advertising venue that would also hit a group of interest.

Just my two cents. I think the show is incredible but that no one knows about it! I heard about it ONLY because someone else told me about it. I spoke with someone earlier on the phone and explained how they just HAVE to watch even 10 minutes of an episode and they'll be hooked. I read the beginning of the pilot's episode preview to them and they said, "Oh yeah - I read something a long time ago about that series but have long since forgotten about it."

I am a fan of Malcolm in the Middle as is the person I spoke with on the phone and when I said that Bryan Cranston was in it - she was immediately interested - just as I was before I even saw any of the show just because he is in it. Therefore, any channels playing reruns of Malcolm - which FX again plays them twice each day and Fox still plays them once each week day - both would be good advertising audiences.

Thank you for creating such a spectacular yet dark series. Nothing beats a dark dramedy where you just have to pull for the bad guy since he's not a bad guy to begin with. I think you've just created the neatest idea and a show with limitless possibilities.

Using Malcolm in the Middle as an example - when the kids grew up, it was really not possible to continue the show although whether Malcolm was in the middle or not, I would have watched it forever if they'd of kept making it due to the humor - subtle and not so subtle and also the absense of a laugh track. Nothing ruins something possibly comedic more than a laugh track.

Well this is important only because Walk has terminal cancer which of course creates an 'out' at any time. Yet it may limit the show by ending it before its time. The show, if more people become aware of it, will be huge - so much bigger than it is. I mean it's just a great, creative masterpiece and in order to continue with new seasons, his cancer is going to have to go into remission or something. The way it stands the show feels that it might end with ANY single episode because Walt is getting sicker and is about to drop dead. That's a lot of pressure of the viewer and if it's intentional, that's good but it makes you afraid to invest too much emotion in Walt or the show since the viewers relationship with Walt and the show could possibly - and seems very likely to be so transient.

Thanks for letting me share. Good luck and please, keep it coming! This is truly the finest show that keeps a person on the edge of their seat, keeps them so very empathetic and sympathetic and it also appeals to the everyman as it's quite realistic. One cannot help but be captivated by the show...wondering....waiting....watching sometimes smiling and sometimes in horror.

Don't STOP this series! Proliferate it! Spread the word! Advertise and make it known that any missed episode is here, in good quality for viewing as well as available On Demand.

As I said earlier, even in this very thread people were saying they didn't know where to see the episodes they'd missed! So, make the Episode Guide more straight forward...call it like "Watch Full Episodes Here".

Seriously, the way it appears I can see easily that someone might see the episode guide on that right column and think it's just the summation or the plot summary - if not just a sneak preview. IMO you have to say - these are FULL EPISODES - all of them from Season One (and so on for the future). Not everyone is that Internet Savvy and even though that's not really hard to figure out, apparently if bloggers here don't know where to find the episodes they missed, for some it must be a bit confusing,

Most sincerely,
Theresa

Part II:

I was wrong. Those were only episode recaps. However, so far I've found - on AMC the first two FULL EPISODES here:

(watch episode 1 and 2)
http://www.amctv.com/videos/breakingbad/

At Amazon you can buy the 'unboxed' episodes - all 7 for about $2 each.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012QRPU4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=digital-video&qid=1201046330&sr=1-1

At TV guide they also have full episodes to watch or download for $1.99 each as well:
http://video.tvguide.com/Shows/Breaking+Bad

Rapidshare - episodes everywhere - google: Breaking Bad Rapidshare. This page has all Season One Episodes on a single page:
http://www.tv-mafia.com/breaking_bad

Another PTP site that includes every possible means of getting an episode or all of them that you can imagine.... Also has what appears to be hundreds of full seasons / episodes of many, MANY popular current shows from 24 to the New A&E two-part Andromeda Strain. You can find anything at this site - American Idol, new Dancing with the Stars, all Adult Swim series, all Comedy Central - like the newest South Park Season, Prison Break - you name it, it's most likely there - even Deadliest Catch, Survivor, WWE, etc.

http://tvseries-download.blogspot.com/search/label/Breaking%20Bad%20season%201

BitTorrent - entire season download in 5 file parts:
http://redbandentertainment.com/Breaking_Bad/Torrent_Breaking_Bad_1x06_07_XviD_asd_EnglishV_NapisyPL_www_tvshows_yoyo_pl_6_1.1n9d68.d

ANYWAY - pay a couple of bucks through Apple or TVGuide or use Peer to peer (PTP) file sharing such as Rapidshare or BitTorrent. It's all out there and it isn't difficult to get or watch.

Google: Breaking Bad +full episodes and you'll find many, many pages with a single episode on a personal site - like say episode 4 and you'll find them in MANY formats. You can also try limewire, winmx and other ptp's but the fastest, safest and easiest to use is rapidshare, IMO.

AMC also has a full page explaining where to find the episodes on PayPerView for free - like On Demand and such.

Night.

You’ve all said it. This show is awesome! I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like the show; even the CEO of my company likes it! I never thought a show like this would be something I would have in common with my boss’s boss. Seriously, think about it. A national company’s CEO… Chief Executive Officer and I shared a conversation! Like me and him (yeah, and the other person I was originally talking to but he doesn’t count). This show is great because we got to share laughs (like the slushy ghost), drama/struggles (family/cancer), and ironies (lots!). We talked for about an hour, it was awesome! Seriously I think he knows my name and that means a lot in the business world.

Is there any way we can get an e-mail when the show starts up again? It would seriously give me an edge with the big cheese.

Thanks guys, your skills as directors and performers are unprecedented.

default userpic

soo is it known when we're gonna see more of this?
the show is awesome and i can't wait to find out what happens next.

user-pic

What a relief!!!! I've been worrying about the status of this show--I could imagine us all standing in that junkyard with nowhere to go. I'm so glad Walt and Jesse, et al, will be back. Now WHEN will these new episodes begin airing?

default userpic

Many of you have been asking when the new episodes will air. At this time, there is no confirmed start date. But when it is decided it will be announced on the website, so keep checking back for more updates. Meantime, congrats to BB on its TCA nod!

default userpic

great show, the violence the interaction between caractures outstanding the chemicle nomanclature right on, maybe with his knowledge he would have used a closed system, EG: boling flask heated w/heate mantel and condenser and a scruber for smells, or go big and use a 50 gal electric hot waterheater------, I don't know as I am only speculating.

default userpic

This is great news because this show is the best on tv period. Can't wait for season 2. I was hooked from the very first episode. Keep up the good work AMC.

default userpic

I'm soooooo excited you are going to have a second season of Breaking Bad! We absolutely love this show. We watched it every single week. I can't wait.
When will it start?

default userpic

Wow...that significantly improves my day...hell, that improved my freakin' year. I will spread the word to all the people I got hooked on the show over the past few months. Looking forward to it!!

default userpic

i can not wait for the season to start this is my favorite show no doubt. CANT WAIT, PLEASE HURRY BUT DONT LOSE THE QUALITY EITHER...

default userpic

Wonderful! This is the only TV series I've ever watched religiously. Ever. I'm excited it's coming back.

default userpic

I Agree, one of the best and boldest shows ever ... on par with HBO and others ... also Mad Men, two incredible shows ... this coming from someone who rarely watches any TV at all. When can we see new episodes?

default userpic

Bryan Cranston was on the Adam Carolla Radio Show on 6/12 and said that season 2 will start sometime in January. You can download the interview for free on itunes.

default userpic

There was never a dought! Cranston and Paul are amazing together. So funny. Congrats on a fantastic first season. Not one person I know who has watched the show isn't hooked-----------big time. 2nd season I heard is going to come out in January. Anybody heard anything different??

user-pic

All I wanna say is WOOOOOOO WHOOOOOOO!!!!
I'm so happy its continued! I can't wait to see it! I am definetly an addict to this show!

default userpic

Yes , finally a show that is truly worth the time , not only that , it has made me find the time to watch. It has had the same effect on everyone i know . Your ability to capture the current situation(s) regarding the real world that is out there, one that a whole sector of our population has no clue about, .Thank you for creating something that deals with todays issues, and put the seriousness into a humorous package,. enlightening , entertaining. Glad to hear theres gonna be a season 2

THE BEST!

default userpic

IT'S ABOUT TIME DAMMIT!

YOU GET ME ADDICTED TO THIS SHOW AND MAD MEN THEN LET US GO THROUGH WITHDRAWS!

I was really worried that the show was over, and I was getting mad as hell waiting for more of this 'drug' like show. Too addictive and way too much thought put it this show for the general public and ignorant press to understand how excellant this show is written, directed and produced.

Remember when the bucket, water and toliet paper was slid on the basement floor to the dude clamped by his neck to the beam? That was brilliant! Everything about this show is a +++10

Regular Hollywood and the major networks better take notice, AMC is going to blow them away with such GREAT ACTORS and shows such as these!!!

I wish there was an email/text message service from AMC to remind us when these shows are on.

Rich

default userpic

I'm back again. Checking to see if there is any more news on when season 2 is supposed to start. I check in ever once in awhile to see if anything has changed. Can't wait. This was the only tv series I've watched from the start to the finish. Great work.

default userpic

I kept checking my Tivo for upcoming episodes until I finally gave up and canceled my season pass. Now I can't add it back until there is less than two weeks until lthe next episode. If I miss that window I will kill myself.

I have added it to my wish list, but that has proven unreliable in the past. I am now on AMC e-mail, but I have had no experience with their reliability.

default userpic

I am sooooo glad, I love the show based in New Mexico. I love the scenery. The actors are so believable. Please let us know when it starts. Also let us know if you are re-running the first shows so i can tell all my friends that missed it.Yippie

default userpic

I am drawn to the show on several levels. I am on a parallel course with inoperable lung cancer. Having been diagnosed only weeks before the premier, I anxiously waited for each episode. Statistically, 50% of lung cancer patients die within the first year. Will I be around for the second season? I had six months of chemo while Mr. chranstons character has only had one or two. Though my wife is not pregnant, my youngest is not quite two. Odds are she will not remember me. I wonder what my financial future will hold as I prepare to start short term disability. Having worked all my life and now a disease will force me to stop at 43. It is frightening and exciting to consider what other skills can be used to turn a profit, as I slowly wither with this cancer. The reality is that any commission of a felony would negate my life insurance. None the less, I am anxious for season two.

default userpic

My favorite shows are Six Feet Under , Mad Men and Breaking Bad; they all are #1 in my book.

default userpic

to terminaldevice, on July 11, my prayers are with you and yours FOR REAL. I only came here to see when the new episodes were coming and I found you instead. Oh, ok, I did find TONS of deservedly righteous praise for the show and everyone involved in it BUT, but, you sir should receive manna from heaven (among other things :). You describe your situation in all its harsh realism and pure sadness yet you do not let go of life and its wonder in oh so many forms - to you, the excitement of a fantastic show returning. You will be in my thoughts and I tearfully/fervently hope that you will indeed be here to not only watch but FINISH season 2 as well as all the subsequent seasons and years to come. God bless you, Laura P.S. I decided to change my username so I edited my profile but the change didn't take place on my comment to you. So...henceforth, I will be Dolphinsmiles55 but my email will be Startnw3. Phew! Take care...

oh, man! Now I look stupid; 'course maybe I am when it comes to blogs which I so rarely rarely even read, let alone comment on or even have a profile at all. Anyway, I told terminaldevice that I had changed my username from Startnw3 to Dolphinsmiles55 but when I went back and previewed my comment the change had not taken place. Murphy's Law stated something or other here though because when I clicked submit the correct username was right where it should be. Of Course. At least my message, itself, to terminaldevice got through. Enough of this for one - my first - night!

Great show, great actors and a great story line! Someone's done their home work. I love a show that cares about getting even the smallest things right. I cant wait for next season. Keep up the good work.

Ahhh! Something to live for. I hope all the characters are retained, even that wife, although i do hope she begs for a edidural and doesn't get one :)

I would like to buy my brother the first season dvd of BB.
I see Mad Men already has season one out. What about BB. My brother missed the first season, and he has no VCR. I want him to catch up before Sept when season 2 starts. I love this show. It's what I hoped for Saving Grace
which started out with a bang, but now the writing is going downhill.

That is great news but i really want to know when season 2 begins

Some news on season 2's return would be lovely. I am already a fan of Mad Men--and was well before Breaking Bad arrived..Now its all I can do to get through another Sunday without good ole BB.
Give the people what they want...Share with us, the fans, a date upon which we may all delight in the drama and trangressions of the show you created and for which we crave. Another hit, please, Dr. AMC. Pronto postings of soon return, and deservingly same advertising. Wouldn't want to miss out on the ratings now would we.

So when is the next season going to start? I've been holding my breath since it was announced on May 8, can't wait. Let us know soon!

Four months to the day plus one.
I scour the television guides and programming notes daily, still no word of Walter's fate nor of his return.
My only solace is the thought that I am not alone, others must be waiting as well.
September's ratings have nothing to do with quality fare, I tell myself, the faithful will be rewarded.
Still I wait.

Woah guys! Calm down! I know you are all dying to see BB season 2, but I'm here to give you guys a little info. I play one of Walter White's chemistry students. Here is a couple of pics of me from season 1: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/presea775/l_e78a74e09abc242db3b88c9b3e47a25c.jpg
(I'm the brunette in the back in episode 2)

(episode 5, 2 seats from the chick that says "Like an explosion" Not a nice girl btw)
I was just called last week to be a part of season 2. When I was there on the set(Albuquerque Studios) I saw on that clacker thing that they use for editting, that the episode I'll be in was episode 6. Since they are going to be filming for 13 episode, they said that they won't finish filming until December. So it will take a little while, but just be patient, it will come. ^_^

Thank you for writing this dark and funny show with drama that takes hold of you and just don`t let go!
Please don`t ruin these multilayerd characters now..
this sometimes happen when TV Companys get greedy and get of the narrow path to reach the masses.
Loving it as it is!

In Sweden we download a lot, but when you find a show like this you want to give back, so i am going to buy the dvd!

I'm soooo glad the show is still running. On Demand has not been putting the show on in my area though and I missed an episode. It's driving me nuts. Any tips on getting on Demand to do something here would be greatly appreciated.
