Breaking Bad

Win a Winnebago (Toy Model): Week IX

Here's your chance to be the proud owner of a toy-sized version of Walt's Winnebago. Tell us: Do you think Hank would arrest Walt if he found out?

Once again, we'll randomly pick a winner from the answers and award a replica of the RV from the show.

We're giving away a miniature model every week, so be sure to check back for next week's question. Find out after the jump who our lucky winner was last week.

Question: Who would you most like to see "break bad" next?

bman: "Hank and Marie have something going on that we don't know about. We've seen Marie start breaking bad but I think Hank has some secrets that we have not seen...yet. I just think Hank and Marie might be in on 'something' together. They're both goin' down!"

Walt's unborn child is undoubtedly synthesizing amphetamines in the womb.

user-pic

I don't think Hank will have the chance to arrest him because, since Walt isn't the man he used to be, Walt would throw Marie's legal issues in Hanks face.

They'll both end up keeping their mouth shut for the love of family.

user-pic

Steve G,
Unborn drug dealers? You MUST be a writer on the show. Heheee!

user-pic

Pamala,
Great point, but will the indiscretions of stealing and love of family for Hank be enough to motivate him to "break bad". I would think a a bit more motivation might be in order, maybe Hank is doing a little "hanky panky" dance on the side and Walt finds out. Now that! would cause Hank to "break bad" Boy, Hank is the character we all love to hate and to see him tip over the edge would be rich!

user-pic

I think he would, Hank is a typical cop, above the law and a hard ass. Although, his choice cigars might lead us to believe he has a weakness for breaking bad himself, without further character development it is hard to determine.
I know, start working on the 2nd season instead of giving me my mini-meth lab!
genius show!!
Rooting for the bad guy never felt so right!

user-pic

I don't think Hank will take Walt in. He is first a family man, and wants the best for Walt and Walt's family. Loyalty is paramount for police. But his principles won't allow him to let Walt off free. I don't know how Hank will work it out, but it will be a hoot to see it all work out. Dean Norris plays the part extremely well. My brother is a 30-year cop. I expect great things.

Walt will probably end up seeing the Grey Matter guy's wife again. Or at least come close.... She must be the only temptation he has not fallen for.

default userpic

He'd arrest him then after reviewing all the parameters he'll try to undo it.

user-pic

Tsram,
yes I think his ex girl will show up again and try to spark something in his life, but his devotion to Skylar seems genuine. That is.... as long as she crawls down from up his A#@.
Ha!

user-pic

Bell,
Kinda hard to undo an arrest for murder, kinda like trying to get back a post on the internet once you hit "Submit". Sorta like peeing into the ocean you just cant take it back. But then again we are talking about Vince and the writers "incredible" staff!

I would like to have a teacher or possibly the principle of the school break bad. I think it will be a bit before he goes back to teaching so the introduction of a character close to the family, possibly Walt's side of the family needs a bit of exploring. A genetic line of "bad breakers" or at least some hint of why "he" and not "I" climbed the clock tower of life and opened fire to thin the crowd a bit.

'Love the show, please bring it back! NO, Hank wouldn't bust Walt. He would do the right thing and protect his family member. The scene with the cigar, show his true character. He can as most people , adjust their moral compass to the situation.

user-pic

BillRasm,
Funny reference to the University of Texas clock tower thing. I wonder what Walts parents would be like? Maybe old beatniks/hippys.

user-pic

JeffDee,
It does seem that Hanks has an "adjustable moral compass". But it is his JOB, can he ignore that?

default userpic

Thanks JPB2,
They are revolutionaries on the run from the FBI for burning down the local draft board

user-pic

BillRas,
Revolutionaries from the FBI ehh, Yes, I can buy that, but not something as nefarious as arson...... How about Humboldt County pot farmers?

default userpic

As long as Hank would be able to cover his own behind, he would do everything possible to protect Walt. But, if it came down to Hank or Walt, Hank would put himself first.

user-pic

Jude24u,
That is why Walt needs a little sumfin sumfin on Hank! Some indiscretion that would make Hank squirm!

default userpic

I guess Hank would try to find a way to avoid arresting Walt. Marie's issues aren't big enough to not make him do that though. This type of guy would definitely value family and Walt's condition but doing meth weigh more unless there is some other incentive for him.

default userpic

Jpb2,
Yes, Brilliant, Humboldt County it is! I wonder who you would cast in the parents roll's if you were in charge of casting?

default userpic

Krif,
Dont forget that it was just not meth dealing that Hank would have to overlook. Hank is sure murder is on the same docket for the new "Player in town", remember his snitch is gone.

user-pic

Billras,

Hmmm, Parents for Walt? Gary Busey and Margo Kidder or perhaps Carrie Fisher

I keep wondering who is going to "Break Bad" next. Because face it, we all have a piece of "breaking bad" in ourselves. The question is what will it take to drive it out screaming into the open face of our normally mundane lives. Walt's son?
It would seem a bit hard to see Walt's son break shockingly bad. Skylar? Well pregnancy or postpartum depression might cause her to do something REALLY BAD... I don't know if I want to mull on that very long.... Thanks Vince for screwing me up... HeeeeeeHeee

user-pic

Hank took an oath "To Serve and Protect" He is highly respected and admired by friends. I don't think he would risk or jeopardize his reputation as a law enforcement official. If he discovered Walt did indeed commit these crimes his first instinct would be to protect Walt Jr. and Skyler. It would just be hypocritical to everything he stands for. However I think it would affect him emotionally.

Looking at it from the point of view he would be protecting Skylar (his wife's sister) yeah he would have to arrest him unless Walt really had something on him. Good Point!

user-pic

Fowler,
I dont agree with you, I feel Hanks actions in the past, cuban cigars in particular means he just needs the right motivation. As in a past post "A Little Hank Hanky Panky" would do it... he he...

default userpic

I think that if Walter's wife or Brother-in-law found out it would take some of the edge out. Walter needs to hide his secrets from them not only to protect them, but also to protect himself. I know if my pregnant wife found out I was cooking up ice she would move out in a heartbeat, (think of the baby). If anything I think that the sister (the one that stole the bracelet) should be a customer of tuco and ultimatily find out what Walt is doing, The show can only get more interesting from there.
