End of season one? NFW!!!!!!! When does season two start?

default userpic

I was really impressed with the dialog and the content of this show considering the subject. This reminded me of a HBO program. Will there be a season 2?? I hope so and if there is I will be watching. AC IN SO CAL.

default userpic

yes when is season 2????????? im already missing this show!

To tweak that old phrase: "You guys are SMOKIN'!!!" This is what television is meant to be; a vehicle to take the viewer on a journey, somewhere unknown, to feel, see, do things totally outside their own realm. And to do it in a very humane and human way. As a roller coaster afficianado, I can say that each episode gives maximum "air time"!

Kudos one and all, many thanks, looking forward to the next season. After stepping out with "Mad Men", AMC has knocked the other networks off their duffs with "Breaking Bad". Great move!

We love, love, love the show! I am amazed at your talent as an actor to make it so very realistic! You are able to draw the audience completly in to the story. I only hope and pray there are more episodes to come. I have been reading the comments and know some have talked about your physical aspects of your character. HOw much weight have you lost so far, and will you be losing more? Or, is this just an illusion? Great work! Take care, and hope to see you on the screen again soon.

Mr. Gilligan

Incredible show! Do we watch for Season two in the summer or fall '08? Also, where would one go to get one of those "BAD" T-shirts you are wearing in the Season 1 wrap-up video?

default userpic

When will 2nd season start?!

default userpic

Mad men season 2 alright.I'm MAD there was only 7 episodes......But I guess AMC only took up a limited season to see how it would fly!
I will be impatiently waiting for season 2 of BREAKING BAD!!!!!!!
This could continue for many seasons as there are soo many avenues to go down
-rival gangs looking to control the METH ring
-Hank finds out but demands a taste of the action
-Walt takes over from Tuco
Lab accident!!!!
etc
Hey you left us hanging & we the viewers demand our fix!
Tv & movies to me these days don't spark much of a cord as too many "ITY"shows......reality=stoopidity
those jack-ass types turn my dial but Breaking Bad has an interest that far exceeds any other new shows I've seen as of late.Former being Sopranos...
But breaking bad busts out of the gate & captivates my interest in TV...Way to go Vince!!!
Breaking Bad is Breaking Ground & should (I hope) have Many More seasons.........
But please let us know if & when season 2 is to start!
Counting the days in TV oblivion!

TV is terminal, or at least it appears to be. DVRs are killing the add revenue, writers destroyed this season, most shows are so moronic they not worth the electricity to run the TV. Then I accidentally find Breaking Bad. What gem. I have not felt this way since I found the first episodes of The Shield.

Breaking Bad is intelligent, witty, well acted and DIFFERENT! Its "build quality" is solid and tight. Characters are real, conflicts believable.

Perhaps the Big three are terminal, destine to sink into a fetid swamp of "reality" unscripted, low cost spacers and reruns while FX and AMC lead us to real entertainment?

Best shows: (no order) Dirt, Breaking Bad, Damages, The Shield

default userpic

Someone should also mention DEXTER--
(on Showtime)
yet another well written show.
And again...NOT on the "big" three networks.
Well, actually thats not true--
reruns of season 1 can be seen on Sundays on CBS (and now that Breaking Bad is over for the season you can catch up)

Though it is an edited version....it's ironic that one of the "BIG" three had to export something from a "cable" channel

The impromptu actin between jesse and Walt is fantastic. These two seem to fabricate scripts into hillarious and feasable scenes. Cant wait till Season 2. My buddies feel the same, Chattanooga Tennessee

default userpic

Oh yeah, Did you guys see the look on Walts face when tuco snorted the blu meth and beat the crap out of his buddy. I think Walt realized the strength and impact of the meth he is producing and his indirect contibution to violence.

default userpic

Vince,
The show is amazing! I am blown away by the concept. My friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed each episode. My dad works for you...Dennis in transportation. I always love talking with him after each episode to get some of the behind-the-scenes scoop. So, will my dad have a job with you again? Is Breaking Bad coming back?? Man, I hope so. If so, I hope to get to visit my dad in NM and see how all of this goes down!! Congratulations on a huge success! We will be faithful viewers!!

Best show on television. Like watching a great short film each week, which is I guess why it's on the American Movie Channel. Incredible cinematogrphy, directing, writing, acting, everything. I love the dark subject matter. Bryan Cranston, you rule! You were histerical on Malcom, and brilliant in this. Seen you in other shows as well and always very entertaining to watch. Keep up the amazing work.

We enjoyed the show, and are waiting for season two to start .it has a lot of very rough stuff in it but thats what the show is about!!!! drugs are a terrible problem that sadly many people have to deal with , and we could see how it would destroy families, etc. .......just let us know way ahead of time when the next season starts!!!!........it is a very controversal program, laced with bits of humor, and lots of pathos.......it made us wonder how the lead characters were going to finally either confront their destinies or 'get even' with the drug dealers....we were'nt sure if there as going to be a season two!!!!
Talk about a cliffhanger!!! GOOD JOB everyone!!!!

I am holding my breath for season 2.

Now that Walt has crossed the line, season 2 has to be all about Redemption. Redemption with his family, Jesse, and with himself.

Perhaps he can have a scrape with a young meth-head and see the effects of his actions and this can serve as a trigger to start his trip back from the dark side. Who knows? You guys have nailed it so far. Keep swinging for the fences.

Sunday is my big movie night since Sopranos and now Breaking Bad. I had to Tivo last week and was floored when the announcer tonight blurted...season finale. What!!!???!
Bring on more and soon.
I'm hooked.

default userpic

What happened to the full episodes you could watch on this site??? Nothing but teaser sneak previews now.

Great show, I have tried to watch all the episodes but have missed a couple of them. I've seen the pilot episode half a dozen times. I hope ALL the episodes will be re-aired.

BB could have been done by Tarantino, IMHO, it really reminds me a lot of his work. The frankness, wacky humor, and brutal violence smack of his work.

I have NO DOUBT there will be more seasons.

default userpic

I love the show! My chemist husband just stares in amazement sometimes, haha! When does Season 2 start? We need more episodes for our addiction!

default userpic

Man what a ride. Hey hurry up and cook another batch I need some.

user-pic

I disagree with the second season being redemption- he has a lot of ground to make up and needs to stay on good terms with tuco- although I see walt using his connections with hank to sink him eventually. I still think the sun is only setting on the "dark side" of this show, there are a lot more seedy scenes to be seen.
I think, if there is a second season, (writer's strike?)
we will see some scary run-ins with the DEA and some even scarier run-ins with tuco-
bet!

Just wanted to say that I was involved in meth manufacturing and dealing and subsequently spent a lot of time in prison before I cleaned up my act and wrote a book about some of it. This series is very realistic for me, having lived the life being portrayed.

While there have been a few things that are off course, and would never happen in the real world, for the most part, I have found Breaking Bad to be very accurate and factual, right down to the tube furnace and phenyl acetic acid. And the burglarizing of a chemical warehouse for methylamine...very easy to do a few decades ago.

Anyway, just wanted to give you kudos for putting out a series that's based on reality, is entertaining, and keeps me on the edge of my seat. cheers to you...

default userpic

I think this was a good ending for season one,(as long as their is a season two), mainly because that means season two is going to start right in the middle of the action. You just know there is going to be some action when Walt and Jesse are working with that psycho asshole Tuco.

default userpic

More, more, more- PLEASE! Great show- super character and story development! I'm jonesin' for Season 2!!! Date?

default userpic

A show about what drives us... to who knows! I was hooked upon first seeing it, I love this show because the characters are complex and so very well-written... but still very realistic. Bryan Cranston... what a great choice! I can seriously say that just when I have him figured out, he completely surprises me. And of course I love that it is based (fictionally or not!) in Albuquerque, NM, which is where I live! I know I've recognized at least a few places from around here! And of course the whole subject matter of meth is icing on the cake (so to speak). I won't delve into too much detail but... I've travelled some strange roads related to meth to be sure, and so far, nothing in this show has been too far off-base to those of us who have driven over that edge at one time or another. To top it off I just have always loved the talent of Vince Gilligan from Day 1, I even got to meet him at an X-Files convention! Anyway.... looking forward to much much more from this show! That's my 2 cents!!

default userpic

How much more begging do you want from us Vince? The show is great...Walt,Jesse, everyone... Tuco's Grille is great ;) is Tuco and his grille coming back...where is season 2!!! Albuquerque is represented so well : / lol

Finally a way for the generation to sit a watch the truth about what is happening across America from their homes. No one should think themselves to good to watch. This could happen to anyone. At any moment thanks to the legal teams across America as well as the 15 million illegal's any working American can became to sick or to hurt to be covered by their insurance. Their are groups to be outraged for illegal's as they profit or have family involved in the illegal problem. Walt however becomes the outlaw not a criminal as he profits not for himself but for the sake of his family, The criminal takes for himself and leaves his wife's sons, daughters to pay, pickup and answer for his sins. Walt is a better man and only concerned because there is no group to care for the American men and woman. Why? No press, it doesn't make news. So hospitals are drained by 15 million people who refuse to get the correct papers to cross the border as they are on the run for committing crimes in their own country and we the working Americans are paying with our lives and our children's lives. Hospitals will give nothing to an American yet are required to write off so much a year to illegal's. Walt may be better off if he gets caught because people in federal prison get full medical care. Where is the reward for being a hard working , educated American without a record after the age of forty? Let's see that on our taxes for serves not required. A sort of incentive program. I know it's a show but I pray for all the Walt's and Jesse's and the people they harm and the reason they ended where they are and the police that must be on the street every night in harms way because of them. Gods speed. Silver/OK

Hello,
Vince all I can say is DAMN!!! This is one hell of a show and thank you. You and the rest of the cast have finally showed the world what real tv is supposed to be I love this show second favorite to the sheild which is on FX these are my favorite 2 really the only reason I watch tv except when I'm tring to catch the weather.I will have to admit the first show started like a quintin tarention movie had me a little confused from the start but it got so much better.I hated the fact that this season was only 7 episodes long and the way season 1 ended with no sort of conlusion keeps me hanging didn't even know that this season was over till I checked the web two weeks later after rushing home for the past 2 thursdays tring to catch the new episodes. Ok I don't even watch TV until this year. I started watching this show andit was almost like a movie that kept going every week. We had a group of people that would come over on sudays just to watch the show. I loved that show so much and then it just stopped one week and I was like there is no way that is the end of the season after only 7 shows. This is my favorite show of all time and you guys yanked it. I am furious. I am totally against drugs because I have seen alot of people go down hill and lose their lives because of it but the story line is incredible and I really would appreciate it if you guys could put it back on the air. I guarantee it will be winning awards by season 2.
