After my very first viewing of this episode, I sort of complained about the slower pace. I think I have changed my mind. The pilot episode was just so rapid fire I had problems adjusting. I was also teased into believing Walt and Jesse would be found out. Since then, I've settled into the pace and am perfectly content to let things happen as they will. I can't do much about it anyway.

I did find that some small details I had been merely amused by the first time around, were hilarious on the second or third viewing. For example: Jesse hunting through the drawer to find the make-up to cover his black eye and climbing into the plastic bin to see if it will hold a body. In the later episodes, I was able to appreciate these details right away, but back then, I was just trying to figure it all out.

I think I've just been out of practice. My kids normally dominate my TV set and this is the first time in a while that I've had a show that really stirs something in me.
