Win a Winnebago (Toy Model): Week III
Here's your chance to be the proud owner of a toy-sized version of Walt's Winnebago. Tell us: Do you think Walt should tell Skyler everything?
Once again, we'll randomly pick a winner from the answers and award a replica of the RV from the show.
We're giving away a miniature model every week, so be sure to check back for next week's question. Find out after the jump who our lucky winner was last week.
Yuki Kanou: Lacking the time that Jesse does, Walter has the better deal in everything the pair does because even if he ends up in jail or in trouble, he will die from lung cancer. Chemotherapy does not save everyone. He could also try proton therapy, though the "inoperable" clause (if not his judgment) would still be his downfall.
Due to age, Walter also has the experience that Jesse lacks. In "Pilot" we learn that Jesse failed Walter's chemistry class, thus in the very end (after Walter's death) this will be his downfall, for he cannot make the same "three inch" crystal methamphetamine again. Jesse needs to learn his craft before it is too late.

I think he should tell her that he is dieing but I wouldn't tell her everything if I were him. First, he won't be around much longer to change whatever negative impact it might have on their relationship and thus he will go to the grave as a husband scorned. Also, we all have to cosider that she is pregnant and this kind of stress could be damaging to her unborn child.
There are some things better off taken to the grave.
I have lived with the man who is now my husband for 24 years, so I have a handle on how to be sneaky and devious. I think it would be crazy and dangerous for Walter to tell Skyler everything on so many levels. First of all, Walter is involved with some pretty wicked characters and if these people find out about her or think she knows too much, she could get hurt or killed. That would be the end of Walter! Secondly, even though we know it's not true, Walter needs to believe he is in control and keeping this information to himself feeds into that illusion. And finally, it's mysterious and don't we all love that?
I think that if Skyler asked him directly (and she won't), Walter wouldn't lie to her, but he definitely commits the sin of omission. He's "protecting" her.
BTW, honey, I'm only kidding about what I said in that first paragraph!
I think Walter should tell Slyler everything - since he's doing it for her.
I don't know--it's a tough call. Though I think the popular adage, "It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission," applies well here. If she finds out, she finds out. Deal with the consequences then. Until then, live and let live.
I think Walt wants to tell Styler everything but when it come down to it, he won't be able to tell her anything because he loves her too much and won't hurt her any more than he absolutely has to. Maybe Walt will lie and say he's having a affair, who knows Walt might say Jesse is his gay lover. One thing for sure the writers are taking all of us on a low-rider joy-ride so my guess is that anything goes. We'll never be able to out-smart the writers, in fact they might be milking the blogs for material to finalize the plot, LOL!
So send me the Mini-Motor Home already!
I think Walter should tell Skyler so that she can assist him. Together they can keep their DEA Agent relative off their backs. :) Also together, maybe they can work on getting Walter healthy again by some miracle cancer treatment. Face it Walter, we love you. You're just in the wrong place, wrong time.
Skyler has the most insights to her own husband, and besides, he's doing it all for her!
Of course Walt should tell Skyler EVERYTHING!
- as should ALL couples!
She wouldn't understand.
absolutey not!!! We need Walter to build up a monster internal stress trauma in order to cause massive behavioural changes which will delight viewers such as myself.
