Win a Winnebago (Toy Model): Week V
Here's your chance to be the proud owner of a toy-sized version of Walt's Winnebago. Tell us: During the intervention, who gives Walt the best advice?
Once again, we'll randomly pick a winner from the answers and award a replica of the RV from the show.
We're giving away a miniature model every week, so be sure to check back for next week's question. Find out after the jump who our lucky winner was last week.
Question: Is Walt secretly enjoying his break?
Linda: "To some extent I think he is! He has always played it safe and by the rules. In episode one, I think he thoroughly enjoyed taking the bully in the clothing shop to his knees. I sure did.
In episode two, I think he enjoyed telling Skyler to crawl down out of his a$$. I know I have that one memorized and ready to use on my husband next time it's appropriate; however, my husband liked that scene too! :)
He said he thought he enjoyed smoking Pot.
In episode four, he definitely got off on putting the windshield washer on the car battery and letting it burn."

I DON'T THINK HE IS AT LEAST NOT AS MUCH AS OTHER PEOPLE THINK. I THINK WALT WOULD JUST LIKE THINGS TO GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE..YOU KNOW,BEFORE THE CANCER,THE METH,THE KILLING. I CAN TELL THAT JUST BY THE WAY HE RECOUNTED HOW HE MET SKYLER.
By far, Walt Jr. has the best advise. At one point, he tells Walt to "Just Die" since he is so afraid. On the other hand, Walt Jr. tells Walt to look at what he (Jr.) has been through and examine the fact that Walter is afraid of a little Chemo. A lot to think about from someone as humble and tried like Walt Jr. We adults seem to never want to take advise from our children. Count your blessings, even in your darkest hour!
we are loveing this movie, my son an i watch every episode. Thanks Littlebit. !!!
Hi, Littlebit again. Skyler sister? Gave the best advice .
I think the best advice came from Mary followed by Hank, in that Walt should do whatever he feels is right. While I can appreciate Walt Jr.'s sentiments, on many levels overcoming a crippling disability and being faced with absolute mortality are two very different things.
If I knew I only had a certain amount of time left in this world, then I would want to take that time to enjoy it a best as I could with those around me rather than lock myself into a futile battle for a few extra hellish months.
I've given this a lot of thought and I think Walt gives himself the best advice. He tells his family that they will remember his sickness, rather than the good years with him. He also unloads a lot of pent-up feelings about the way his life has gone for him so far.
However, in the end, even Walt is not able to listen to himself.
Much to my surprise - from the look on her face ... to her surprise too - I think Walts sister in law hit the home run on this one.
I hadn't thought a lot of the character to this point but I was really impressed with how real and thoughtful she seemed after listening to everyone.
Freedom is a word most of us never get tired of hearing. Mary brought it up, Hank agreed with it, and Walt confirmed it
Hank's first advice was best. Just because life gives you a crappy hand does not mean you simply give up on life. You keep fighting. You keep going. Anything can happen. Doctors do not know everything.
The lady in the middle (Mary?) gave the best
advise. "use it before you lose it" Live life as
long as you can, as happily as you can. Who
wants to sit in waiting for death rooms?
Send me a winny please. LOL Thanks!
I think the moment of clarity for me was his son picking up his crutches and calling him a pussy for not having the guts to do cemo.
To "the old bag" Mary seem to jump ship and abandon her sister, was her motivation compassion or sibling rivalry?
To "Ibatman" is hank just parroting the latest flavor of opinion? I found myself at times being swayed either way. A good sign of a great script by the way. Kudos again to the writing staff.

Walt Senior gets my vote for "Talking Pillow Prize", but then he caves and starts the chemo. Disappointing, but that's Walt- unpredictable loose cannon. That's why we keep watching.
