AMCtv.com invites you to submit an audition video using one of three pre-selected monologues originally performed by Emmy winner Bryan Cranston.
The Grand Prize winner gets a chance at a walk-on role in Season 3 and $1000. Ten First Prize winners will each receive a Breaking Bad Season 1 DVD set.
Registered AMCtv.com members will vote for and comment on their favorite entries to determine the 20 finalists and the ten First Prize Winners. Breaking Bad's creator and executive producer Vince Gilligan will select the Grand Prize Winner.

Dan, I have been doing this for a long time and I must say I am impressed. A lot of people on here seem decent, but there is a certain poise about you, just a relaxed form of confidence that I admire.

other than the fohawk he isnt bad if you dont have to hear him or see a freaking stuffed animal. he did use different angles though.

A good way to gauge an actor's talent is to watch the video with no sound and cover the actor's mouth with your thumb. Not bad Daniel.
What I thought was good about this was that he really produced a good, high-quality effort. I don't see what can stop you from achieving your goals, good luck!

The cast of B.B. have a certain chemistry that cannot be taken away. I think it is always hard to find someone new to add in, whether for an episode or for a season. You do a pretty good job at capturing the mood of the television show, thus proving you a great candidate.

As far as I can see, this entry stands out from the rest. Some entries do use more creative techniques, but I am sure Daniel can be creative as well. I think he was trying to show us his personality and speaking ability while even using a subtle bit of humor. It was professional and well spoken. I hope you do well.

Daniel, a great rendition of Walter's monologue. I think you captured the aspect of the situation and the seriousness of it. Then again, you were still able to show your comical side with a little bit of Pooh at the end! Great Work!

You would make me want to watch Breaking Bad even more. So yes, that is a compliment!
I think the use of the prop almost attempts to cover up the bad acting in this video. Maybe next time focus on the acting and not throw in a prop such as that.

Hello all! I've been pretty quiet up until now, just observing and watching all the great auditions. No reason to suck up to Mr. Gilligan at this point because I'm sure he will have a mind of his own when picking the winner.
Thanks to all who have voted for me and for all the positive comments. I would love nothing more to be on Breaking Bad but understand it is not only the dream of mine, but many others as well. I do hope that dream comes true for somebody as it truly is a once-and-a-lifetime experience.
Best of luck to all and just remember, as I will try to if I don't win, never give up on your dreams and aspirations because only you can close the door to your future. Failure will prove to bring success if you keep at it.
