Although cloning moved from science fiction to reality back in 1996 (Hello, Dolly!), the history of duplicating DNA dates back much further. Here's a timeline of some of the highlights from Aeon Flux to Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Throughout, the message is clear: Your doppelganger is dangerous.
